im just wondering why i might be getting a headache after i trip! usually when i trip later in the night, the next day i have the worlds largest headache! why might this be? could it be a trip-over? something like a hangover?

I'm guessing if you're doing them later in the day you're staying up well past your normal bedtime and suffering from some sleep deprivation.

De-hydration causes headaches... and a lot of people don't drink enough water while on drugs! I always take a couple tylenol toward the end of my trips and I never get headaches! Also reminds me to drink water

Some people take shrooms to get rid of headaches..maybe do what imp and duck suggested..water and sleep..or take more shrooms...

haha thanks guys! and yea, ive heard of people taking them once a month to get rid of the migraines! it used to help until i was doing them probably 2 times a month! but i dont think its because of the sleep... my bed time varies depending on what im doing that night but thank you guys!

My wife gets relief from her headaches by taking threshold doses of LSD or mushrooms every two weeks. From what I've gathered talking to several people and doing a lot of research she's pretty rare but there are others who need the more frequent dosing.

Yeah, there is that guy in that documentary who promised his evil daughters that he would never ever do anything illegal to relieve his awful pain. I still think about that story. Still, is a museum dose of mushrooms every two weeks such a price to pay for a reduction if not an absence of debilitating headaches? I think not, at least for we sane people.

My wife is at about 3 museum doses a year, and for that, she gets to eat aged cheeses, red wines and pretty much anything else that those who know warn to avoid.

oh, and the sex on a museum dose is just short of spectacular.

OP: As others have said drink some water and eat some food while tripping. Starting the day by getting a good sleep and eating a healthy non-greesy breakfast helps too. i try to skip dairy/meat during the day to feel less bloated. Try a nice sweet seedless watermelon, one of my favorite relaxation trips was eating a giant hunk of watermelon naked with the Mrs while watching Planet Earth in the summer, there was so much weed stuck to us when we were trying to pack a bowl.

one of those thing that first pops into my head is that part of the documentary when the subject of random mushroom knowledge comes up. I have a friend at work whos wife has what i guess are cluster headaches, all the signs and the doctors keep guessing at what it is. Ive suggested that he should talk to the doctor about cluster headaches and hope he does. But with him and his wife's mind set from what i know i just cant see them ever trying mushrooms/lsd at even low doses. I knew so many people like this when i grew up in small towns. Mostly the hard core church goers who follow the law and never question anything, living life content. i dont see anything wrong with it but it shows you to question yourself. There is a small part of me that thinks from time to time that one of the religions could be right and most of us are going to go to some kind of hell, the bigger part of me knows that if there was something bigger than us its not what we think of it as and we cant even imagine what it
would be.

More people need to have sex at the low doses. My first time trying mushrooms my MIL told me i didnt know what i was doing and that the quarter me and my GF were splitting was way to much. So being the nice guy i am, i listened to her knowing that if we split it and took it all we would have a normal dose. So we ate what must of been 1.5-2grams each. Went for a walk just me and her and got that "happy drunk" feeling. Get back to watch a movie with the her mom and brother (who are all just smoking weed and drinking a small amount) and not 5minutes in shes pawing at me from under the covers while we watched fear and loathing. The entire time i feel like im sucked back in my seat getting a HJ from her with my mouth open breathing like a idiot hoping they dont notice. Later we went downstairs and had the best sex we have ever had and im sure her entire family knew too.

Im starting to think that at least my stomach issues on mushrooms might be caused my low stomach acid. I ended up reading up on doing the beet test to see if you have low stomach acid (i do sometimes if the test is somewhat accurate). Oddly when i drink OJ on mushrooms (not for the vit C makes you trip harder crap, i just enjoy the taste of it on mushrooms) i have fewer stomach issues.
