Hey Petedav I'm glad ta hear someone else has tried this strain !
It's just starting to get a real nice smell about it (bit hard to explain the sent yet )
yes shes just starting ta frost up now , i thought she never would !
Please get back to me regarding your plant including pics !!!

day 66 of grow
day 47 of flower ( 6 weeks and 5 days )
My ICE plant has buds bulking up nicely
All of a suddern it has started getting heaps of yellow shade leaves starting from the bottom going all the way up to middle
Is this normal for this age ?
If so is it time to start with straight water ?

day 69 of grow
day 50 of flower (7 weeks and 1 day )
CRYSTAL
ICE
CRYSTAL has orange pistals coming on
and the smell is so strong , the seed bank i got the seeds off say it smells of kerosine
i don't know what it smells like but fuck it is strong!
It has got a strong sativa look about it
ICE has almost no smell but is fattening up nice
just starting seeing a few orange pistals coming out to play

Nice pics. I have a lot of experience with Ice, and I found it odd that you say yours has barely any smell to it. In all my experience with that strain I can tell you that it is very very strong smelling. With having an inline fan and air scrubber the whole house still smelled so strong even incense had a hard time covering up the smell. On the windier days you could actually smell it outside the house very easily. There was even a neighbor who commented that someone "must be growing around here" cause he could smell it in the street. Now, I do have to say, it's been a while and that strong smell might not kick in until later in the grow, maybe week 6 of the flowering process, but when it does you may want to be mindful/careful with it.
I forgot to mention.....the two Ice plants that was growing was in a SCROG and produced about a half lb each under one 600w hps for the first 4 to 5 weeks of flowering then under two 600w hps for the remainder. Setup was an NFT system running Green Planet nutes at 1300-1400 ppm.

My Ice is starting to have a smell , if i leave door shut to room with it , then go in there
the whole room does smell of it
Just nothing compaired to Crystal plant
Do you have any pics of Ice you can post ??

and how long do you think b4 changing to straight water ?
How much longer do i keep them growing ?
I have no idea (it has to be close though )

OH Man the wind blew up last night and blew my whole plant and pot off the stand i had it on
I found it this morning
on it's side laying on the ground , i picked it up and half the branches had broken off
so i have hung the branches up and start drying i suppose
ddaaaaaaaaaammn
My Crystal still has a few colas on it but
NOT HAPPY JAN !!!!!!!!!

Well, enjoy the forced taster buds. I am sorry to hear of the event.
I too am worrying about weather issues. I am in So Cal but I have
new sprouts (parsnips, leeks, cukes, lettuce, bok choy, etc) and an
excellent entheogenic cacti in the back yard. I am worrying about
the potential for even a small frost.

That is just it....in Southern California there really aren't seasons
in the traditional sense. What am I saying...it is 60F this morning...Brrr! :0)
We do get the occasional frost, and certain cacti and plants will have to come in.
