yeah, it's a mk 4, so i guess it's the 99.5..

and i'd love to do a swap. it's not too slow, other than being an automatic. :(
it revs really nice up till i hit about the 80mph mark or so, than it'll fall flat on it's face for a good 20 or so, and once i hit 100 or so, it'l pick back up some.. :)

the highest i've had it was around a buck thirty or so.. was racing another gti on the njtp.. funny thing is, the next day i saw the car at waterfest vw show.. it was pretty funny..
Lol, I hope to have my 01 ready for H2Oi next year.
You should do a swap to a 1.8t if it is your daily driver, good bit of pep with the psi set at 15 in my k2 golf.
Thought about putting a vr6 in it, but since I drive it on the daily, I have to think about gas.

When they tested it on the bench, all 8 intakes were spit`n so fast, it looked like it was gonna lift up vertical take-off. Notice four jets per intake, gotta keep the pressure equalized. The split design, works better than the last. I`m not sure how.

would of been easier, cheaper, and got more power had he gone fuel injected rather than any carb setup. still bad ass though!

Cheaper? Since when is fuel injected cheaper than a carb setup dro? And even simpler for that matter? With f.I. you now need a computer to run all of.it, which you don't for a cab setup..
I agree f.I. is the better setup, but not sure on the rest though..

look at that carb setup. doubt its anything you can just buy off the shelf and if it is its definitely NOT cheap. they have fuel injection conversion kits now for old factory carb engine that dont cost too much at all. seen them in summit racing's parts mag. and anyone thats taken apart a carb and taken apart a fuel injection system will tell you theres a lot less shit on a fuel injection setup. whats there a fuel rail and injectors? there are a LOT more parts inside a carb. really only thing a carb has going for it is its easier to adjust compared to EFI. screw driver VS computer lol

Do you wanna mix it in the cylinder ? Do you wanna mix then send it through lines ? Nitrous is stable at only one exact temp. It doesn`t do anything the same if not at that temp.

You guys see that COPO Richard was allowed to build and then buy on that last episode of F & L? When he started up the convertible 2012...it...was killer heheh. It even startled him.
