Food stamps in the 50's were nothing like they are today. Back then it was barely enough to hold a person between two jobs.

Now a days people on welfare seem to depend on food stamps as a way of life. In some cases people are even having children for the sole purpose of increased welfare benefits and tax deductions.

Ben Carson is one of the best brain surgeons this world has ever seen. It wasn't the government that helped Ben become a better student, it was his mother forcing him to read and do extra homework. He went to a mostly all white school. That wasn't easy for a black kid several decades ago.

currently, as a full-time student, i receive 200$/month for SNAP benefits (food stamp) so 6.60$/per day, Dollar Menu get old.

welfare is separate from SNAP and medicaid is separate as well..3 separate applications..you do not qualify for welfare or medicaid in my state without a minor child..further starting another thread about the ACA (just because you don't like the commentary is pretty counterproductive)..the answers will still be the same.
