Mine always drys in 3 days I live in the desert. No matter what I do it seems to be jar able in 3 days I don't even brown paper bag it. Does anyone know how to get a slow dry in the desert.
Why? A fast dry ensures a lower quality smoke and a halt to the curing process.Use to live in AZ, had to run a humidifierNow I'm in America's Heartland and I have a hard time getting it to burn in a doobie. 1 week hanging and into the jars. I miss the desert growing
So you're going to boil water for 2 weeks everyday while your plants dry? Here's a good way to kick up the humidity in your house.
I grow in the desert too and my RH has been teetering around 10%-17% for a while (since I bought my hydrometer to actually measure it a month ago).
Just today I put a big pot of water on the stove at low heat. It boiled for two hours and I watched the RH in my grow room climb from 10% to now 28% within a couple of hours, and still climbing. That may help you dry a little more slowly.
Yes, you can dry and cure the "CALI" way, and the "EAST COAST" way, because there is only ONE WAY. Jarring your bud doesn't make it stickier, just no.Dude im in Colorado, hang the whole plant, it will extend to 4-5, trim... Put in paper bag 2-3 days.... Then jar and check rh. It shoukd be 62-63 .. Jar and burp.. This is with the humidity level at 20-30%
the thing is, you cant dry and cure the cali way or east coast way.... Its smokable after the above formula without curing but jarring it just makes it stickier, not sure why this happens this way, but it does
