feeding and math question...

OK math was never my favorite subject and maybe I'm making this harder then it really is but help would be appreciated. OK I have a 30gallon DWC RES I fill it up with 16gallons of water my plant food says 3teaspoons per gallon so 16×3=48 so that would be 48teaspoons that's a lot of freaking food so that's where I'm confused "FACEPALM"

Call it 16 tablespoons and it sounds better, but 1 cup would be easier and the same.

OK I figured that I looked it up and found I'm not using enough nutrients but I have some cal-mag here and on the hydroponics part it only has ppm ratio so not sure on how many OZ or Cups/ML
