Hello all I am using fox farm nutes and lately my ph is jumping to high everyday so I bought fox farm sledgehammer to flush my bubbleponic hydro system. The nutes schedule has it scheduled to flush every few weeks but this will be my first time doing it. I am 40 days into veg and 3rd week using nutes I'm trying to maintain a 5.2 - 5.7 ph level but everyday I check it, it jumps to 6.2 and up.
so should I use this sledgehammer stuff or just use distilled water? I only use distilled for my babies and have only a half a gallon of water per plant so the nutes I use are 1 tsp each. My setup is small but I need to fix this ph problem so can someone give me some direction/ instructions.
i am using distilled water, 20/4 light, 3 USB fans, 6 - 6500k cfls, 1 - 6" fan, fox farm trio hydro pack, ph up/down kit to adjust daily. Hydroton clay medium with a rapid rooter starter plug inside the 5" neti pots.
do I pour the sledgehammer with water through the pot to clean out the clay or do I let the mixture bubble in the container? For how long? Someone help please. Thanks!
here's a pic of my babes
