Nice one honkey, how was the wiring with the bathroom fan? I wasn't confident I could pull it off so opted for other means.

I am a contractor so it was nothin...I have wired whole homes...nothin to it once you understand it. just take the extension cord and cut it...then the wires inside will be white, black, and ond usually a green ground....just hook up the colors accordingly with some wire nuts...screw the cover back on the fan and you are in business. :blsmoke:

Hmmm, that's what I did with the furnace fan...

Hypothetically, how about wiring it up in my house? Too much of a stretch?

nope...there are a few different ways to do it....you could hook it up to a switch...you could hook it up to constant power and put an outlet wherever you want the fan....what are you thinking....what does your growspace look like...where is the nearest switch if thats how you wanna do it...explain what you want and I will see if I can't start a thread with some diagrams on how you can do it for ya....you also nee to know if you have attic space that the wires are running through...also...what kind of construction is your house?....wood frame with stucco or block...all makes a difference

Yeah, forget it. It's gonna be months before I am in position to fuck with it. I might just pm you when I get down to the nitty-gritty.
