You are absolutely right.

My statement was made under the premise that the weed will not be moldy or laced.

*Edit*

I just read buds post.

Yes I agree that nothing is perfect even with control. Yes some issues will fall between the cracks.

Now, when it comes to kids getting pot. As it is right now a kid can get pot easier than smokes or booze. Sure there are
some idiots that will get it for them from the store if it was legal but really most people wont.

Then they`ll steal it, which brings us back to the original post !i

When I can go to 10000 stores and buy my product, who would have lower prices,
The store competing with 9999 other stores or the dealer who is taking all of the risk and their
freedom?

Economics proves it will be those who are forced to compete and are not being paid for risk.

The med vs street here already proves the point. $10 a g compared to the new inflated price of 7.50 a g that was grown
legally.

And Oddball, I would grow bagseed for the rest of my life before I ever harmed someone for their product. Why would I even grow bagseed
if I had the convenience of walking to the store to buy it unless it was a hobby or a way to save money in the long term.

So those quotes pose another question:

Who would you rather support with your money, the people who build roads and schools or the bangers, murders or criminals who are willing to kick in your door and murder you for your product.

I like roads and schools, they helped me get educated and now offer a way for me to get to work to earn my money so I can go to the store.
You're neglecting the difference in overhead. A storefront costs money, presumably a lisence to sell cannabis will cost similar to a liquor lisence, in addition to whatever other fees the government can dream up. Tobacco and alcohol are both sold illegally, hell I've read estimates that the mob is making more from cigarettes than illegal drugs in NYC because they're so heavily taxed there.
I agree that I woul rather see the money spent on public works than lining someone's pocket.

Lets face it....as it was stated earlier thieves are thieves but I think that no matter what you are selling
there will always be some schmuck that feels it's his right to take it from you under any circumstances they deem
Necessary. It's a shame that someone lost their life but honest people die every single day by the hands of their
fellow human beings and even if weed is 100% legal I'm afraid this type of thing will continue to happen it's a
terrible thing to say but it just shows how fucked up humanity is!

I would imagine so... 1 in 4 houses in my neighborhood has herbs growing in the back yards, I drive down the street and see it in many yards. These people also have guns and NOBODY will take away that right. Anyway, the police do not take guns from growers unless they have 100+ plants or they are caught selling in Nor-Cal. The Department of Justice just recently canceled ALL funding to local narcotics departments in Nor-Cal with the exception of 3 or 4. It is really funny to me, the state just stopped paying the "Drug Task Force" units in Nor-Cal.. They are worried they won't get paid, good, they won't.. THAT IS FINAL.

I would imagine a civil war would break out if the DEA came in like John Wayne and trying to shoot or imprison innocent people who were growing meds in their yards for personal usage. The reason local prices around here are about $100 per ounce is because so many people grow it in their yards.

It has been years since I remember a local got hurt from rippers, it does not happen very often. In ALL cases, the grower was too afraid to defend themselves with a firearm. I like the idea in Switzerland, cannabis is decriminalized, and the Government assigned all citizens a firearm to defend themselves... Switzerland, lowest crime rate in Europe.. It worked.. They also have almost NO prescription drug abuse as well.. Sounds like a much finer place to live than America. American politicians and law enforcement should be ashamed of themselves, they are trying to wage a war on our own country instead of fixing what is wrong.

well.. You can't give 10%-20% of American's guns, they are fucking animals and they will kill each other. I arm myself for one reason, to protect my family from the animals and worthless humans. It looks like Johnny Law took 3-4more of these people off the streets, good.. I believe in the Death Penalty for all 4 of them. Fuck them, they would kill you and your family for money - fuck`em.

I agreed with most of your post, but death penalty for all 4, when only one of them fired the shot and the 4th wasnt even there? Kind of extreme lol.

What I'm wondering is why the fucking scumbag would shoot at an unarmed fleeing person when they already had what they wanted? You go from armed robbery to cold blooded murder for no reason..

I would never have a grow without also owning a firearm, especially an outdoor grow that is known by others... I wonder if Buck would have just chopped off their heads with his axe..

Except for the one who wasn`t there, all three had guns and are guilty the same, so what if only one hit him or her !i

There is a substantial difference between legal sales and the amount of customers than there is with a dude down the street who sells weed.
If 7-11 wants to sell weed so you and 10,000 other people buy it from them, then they will pay their share and reap the benefits.

If I want to buy weed at 3 or 7 am for example, 7-11 will be there when I want to spend my cash, odds are the dealer down the street wont be.

These stories are being echoed in Michigan, by the Child Protective Services and the Judges. They are taking children of all ages out of the homes of legal medical growers/caregivers and claiming that the kids are living in a dangerous environment that could be robbed or worse over their plants. One of our very own members here had it happen to him.

The media eats this shit up, and we pay the price.
