What do you think it says...? I searched the word "tax" and got one result that was totally irrelevant.
imm save you some trouble and 'splain...

Bucky's position is that since the oregon medical dope law doesnt specifically say he MUST pay taxes (to oregon or the feds) on his dope, that means he can grow and market his dope tax free.

the feds will of course take a contrary position when they discover his cottage industry has not been paying it's mordida.

so thats how you propose to defend your business selling weed? youre just recouping your costs?

you know, the IRS has procedures by which you may itemize and deduct business expenses from your gross receipts, to determine your taxable "income" otherwise known as "Profit" right?

if your incomings exceed your proveable costs then you must pay the "Income Tax" on your "Income", and cottage industries cannot deduct the cost of your primary dwelling, your personal expenses or any other cost not directly related to the business.

you could deduct SOME of your electric and water bills, the cost of nutes, seeds, soils etc, and any cash outlays you have for legitimate supplies, or payroll for employees (But Not Yourself!) and after all that, it is considered profit, and thus "Taxable Income".

the only exception is if your gross receipts total less than the set "Hobby Exemption" which is probably still >10% of your gross personal income from other sources.

youll need expense reports, records and all manner of receipts from your clients and suppliers to make any of that shit wash, and that shit is just you giving testimony against yourself for being a "Drugs Kingpin".

you really havent thought this through have you?

knowing to use ctrl + F seems a good enough return on however many years worth of tuition.
wow. thats a really snarky retort, even from you.

so the fact that your alleged proof that you are immune from taxation is the Oregon medical weed law, which says NOTHING about your tax liabilities to Oregon or the feds is just proof that Tokeprep is overeducated and thus dumb because your citation was irrelevant...

fucking retarded.

the cited Medical Weed Law doesnt say youre not an asshole, but the fact remains that you are a huge asshole.

There's nothing about taxation in there. Even if it were otherwise, see Article VI of the Constitution: the constitution and the federal statutes are the supreme law of the land, above any other law. The obligation to pay income tax on income cannot be abrogated by some state statute. It makes no sense to cite that law with reference to income taxes.

IRS regulations state that proceeds from the sale of narcotics are non-taxable...

Appeal to what? Are you trying to write Latin?

Old people have run this country into the ground. JFK was the last great American Pres, he was young, idealist, and shot in the head by crazy people like you.

Reason:
You hate society
You are old and going to die soon
You are senile
You have given up on the world around you
You feel wonderful in a tragic situation imposed on others
You lack empathy for others, excluding yourself
You have rage against the youth because you are jealous
You have NO hope for the youth, even if your medical doctor is younger than you
You feel as if you are a god-like being
You cannot properly associate reality
You act out loud in public, sometime belligerent
Your nature for peace is overwhelmed by your delusions for grandeur
You dreamed of being God as a child, more delusions of grandeur
You have had thoughts of hurting others
You plan on dying with a shout, rather than a whimper
You depend on SSI and disability
You have grandchildren you disdain in everything
Your wife left you and you are alone
You treat women badly
You are a drug dealer for a living
Your family hates you and probably left you
You are in your early to mid-60s, white male, FAT... But you exercise!

Am I right on most/all of this?

You MIGHT be correct in thinking much of the youth is corrupted with simplicity but is it not the job of the older generation to teach the youth from their own mistakes? You are a TERRIBLE person, this is why your family left you. They needed to get away from you, you are a monster with delusions of grandeur. ;)

I know this because half of what you say contradicts the other half of what you say. "Checks and Balance, reduce tyranny*, I WANT ___ TO BE NUMBER ONE!" reeks with idiocy....

*(you misspelled tyranny, btw, it`s not two of the letter "y")
Wow, you might be a bigger asshole than UncleBuck.

Nope. Even dope production expenses are taxed. Say you bought some blow for $50,000. You sell it for $100,000. You pay taxes on $100,000. If you were a pimp you could deduct the costs of bandages every time you beat a whore to keep her in line. Ain't America grand?

Except narcotics, which are specifically mentioned as being non taxable.

But I still think Buck should do the right thing and launder his "bold" money so as to semi-legally pay tax on it.

are you guys all forgetting the*https://www.rollitup.org/politics/721590-8-simple-rules-selling-cannabis.html ?

until they put in some sort of taxation mechanism, they are only prioritizing the mobs, gangs, cartels, and others like that.

independent home growers in legal states will still be on the radar, but not prioritized.

in the meantime, i simply accept reimbursements for the "cost of supplies and utilities used in the production of cannabis". since i mind my business, don't bother anyone, am not part of the mob or some street gang, and most importantly live within my means, no one here cares. it's as if i were selling home baked cakes to earn extra money for college.

do you guys worry about the IRS coming for you if you don't report your christmas gifts?

The IRS says alll income is taxable. With the Caveat that you cannot take any deductions for expenses that support your illegal activity. It really fucks up the business model of dispensarys

You're so fucked if the IRS randomly audits you.

Actually our system was designed to do just that. You didn't have a problem when the majority slammed through a controversial bill without bipartisan and overwhelming public support. It's politics man don't be a hypocrite. The people got together and elected them to do what they're doing, this is what makes this country great. While I don't necessarily agree with them at least the people have some pull in congress which I can say almost all registered democrats, republicans, and independents don't.
There's a massive difference between the ACA and this current mess. Obama ran and was elected w/ healthcare being a priority. Then the MAJORITY wrote and passed a bill that was signed. The minority wasn't happy, unsuccessfully challenged that law in Congress dozens of times and finally was rebuked by the SCOTUS. They lost that battle, many times over.

Apples and oranges man, not even comparable. This is "I'm taking my ball home, fuck you all"

A majority of people or a single person telling others that they MUST pay for something they don't want or need is still using the force of government to perpetuate a theft.

A majority of people cannot make a "theft" of a right of a single person acceptable.
