Newbie looking for advice on indoor grow

I want to convert the above box into a grow. I've never grown in any situation so this is starting from scratch. From what I can figure out i'll probably be able to fit 2 plants in the box(can is for scale). I'm gonna fit a plywood door to the front and line the inside with mylar. I know I need to make the whole box light proof so I'll work that out as well. I'm thinking about hanging two 125W CFL bulbs from a string on the top of the box to allow movement of the lights. For ventilation I was planning on cutting a hole in the bottom right wall and putting in a 250mm computer fan. Ill have to cut another vent hole in the top left as well. On top of this i'm gonna look for a small fan to blow on the plants themselves to strengthen the stems.
My questions are:
- Do I need a carbon filter since my landlord will at some point do a walk through of my apartment?
- Should I use autoflowering plants since im limited on room?
- Can I fit more than two plants in this set up?
- Do I need a temperature and humidity monitor?
- How can i prevent light from coming through the vent and exhaust fan?
- Is a 250mm computer fan enough ventilation?
Any and all help is appreciated. I've recently lost some income so I'm hoping this can replace the lost weed money.

Google stealth grow cabinets or boxes to get some ideas. I put 3 USB powered PC fans with adapter into two six port power strips. Also you can buy plug in sockets for cfl light bulbs and place one of the power strips near the height of the plants and just adjust it as it grows. You can buy another PC fan and install it in reverse into a carbon filter to help with exhaust and smell. You can buy a cheap thermometer/humidity device online. Your going to want to know the temps true daily. You can use reflective tape to seal the Mylar around your holes and the carbon filter can get placed on the outside of the box to seal out light and smell. I am using feminized seeds and can only fit two plants in my stealth box. My box is 16 w x 36h , just plan on the plants growing and you don't want it to crowded in there. I'm a newbie to so you may want to wait for a expert with some of those questions. But def google for boxes to get a design plan.

ok first I need the dimensions of that box so you can size your fan correctly. Yes you need a small carbon filter (I suggest the 18 inch type). It looks relatively small I wouldn't go with more than 2 plants, hell personally I would Scrog one plant in that box. always good to have a temp/hygrometer. you can get a digital one from walmart for 10 bucks. My lar and duct tape for the light leaks. There is so many other configurations that would do you justice you might want to do a little research before you dive into this.

Definitely 1 plant, Mainlined or SCROGd.
Youre gonna have to go CFL in that to keep temps down.
And no Sativa Dom strains for you, not in that little one.
Go with a good Indica, something with an OG.

Thanks for all the help this is doing so much for me.
Should I go with a feminized seed? I was thinking about using an auto flowering seed so I could fit more plants but it seems
like I should go with a single quality plant instead of trying to fit a bunch of smaller plants.
