How much longer?

Yeah, I am very impatient but it's my first time. I am thinking a week or so? This is as close as I can get for photos and my eyesight/hand steadiness aren't helping me to use my Radio Shack mini-microscope. This girl is really stinky, very melony. I have no idea what strain it is as it's bagseed from a random purple strain :)

Can you post a pic of the whole plant? Thanks!
Sure thing. This girl is spindly and dwarflike compared to the Kandy Kush and Harlequin plants which clearly have a decent time left. Bear in mind that being in Western Washington we have't been getting a lot of sun as of the last week or so. I don't see much more in the near future either :)

Argh. Highs in the 50s next week, lows in the 40s. I am glad they are all protected from the WA rain :)

Based on the look of the whole plant, the buds have to fatten up quite a bit still... I'd say at least 3 more weeks. peace

This is why I think the trichome microscope thing is way overdone.

People will see what they want to see when they are looking for amber colors to justify their early harvest. There is no denying an unripe plant when you put the scope down and take a few steps back.

To the OP, Dont worry about the cold temps. She'll be fine. Colder temps can bring out more aroma and color in the finished product. Wait a few weeks, itll be worth it.

Truth be told I'm more worried about humidity combined with the cooler temperatures introducing malevolent spores from the woods and the blackberry patches surrounding my backyard as fall progresses. 82% RH outside right now and I can't do a lot to help that. I have fans running 24/7 to keep air moving but other than that there's not a lot I can do on my deck :)

I guess that's just the Pacific Northwest though, all I can do is hope for the best :)

Same here with the fans 24/7 in my 8' x 10' greenhouse, gotta keep that mold under control and I still have 3-4 weeks to go.
