doin my first run today started with 15 grams of bubba

its amber in color and has stopped bubbling @ 130

Looks great.... don't take it over 125 or 130 and let it go 4 to 8 hours and then check on it.

I'd take it out, let it cool, and form it back into a ball. Melt it back down at your temp, then re vac

I put it in the freezer for like 2 mins then kinda stacked it back onto of itself then back into the vacuum.....it made a muffin again

Get a smaller muffin (size you want the honeycomb chunk) and leave it there....

damn those pics look eerily similar to mine. youre doing good, youll be making wax in no time. very nice set up and sounds like you know what youre doin. just dont leave your valve open under vacuum!!!!

also, I think you might wanna take that cap out of the exhaust on your vacuum pump, no? or its probably vented. I try to vent mine outside, or at least put a rag or towel over it so its not as loud, and captures some of the fumes and turns the rag oily... wouldnt wanna be breathing in tons of that stuff just to be safe if its making the rag oily

not only is it moisture, but its butane from the oil, and fumes from the vacuum pump oil

change the oil every so often, ESPECIALLY if youre cooking off ISO and everclear in that chamber. (you can cook off liquids at a lower temp in there... water normally boils at 212F..it boils at 20F at 29.75" vacuum.)

I think if you keep doing that @ 120-130f you'll get wax..

yeah no kidding. I probably fucked up like 30 times along the way. still do. I havnt vac purged anything in like a week... but what do ya know, my fuckin griddle is STILL on goddamnit!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! fuckkkkkk

think its vented... says gas on the top but a damp rag is a must oooohh that's what that smell is hahahaha

For RATIO or weed to bho % ...do you guys go by finished product weight or what your get on the parchment before purging... 15 gs weed gave me 2.5 gs bho

yup let it keep going, those big bubbles youre seeing are butane bubbles still and would light on fire if you put a lighter to them.

always after purging or you will only be lying to yourself. purging usually makes me lose 10% weight or more.

turned my heat to 120 went to bed ...woke up this morning my heat source shut off..... and the vac chamber presasure dropped to -25

easy to handle but glossy.....keep going? 1.9 gs
