500 or 700 scale?

Hello all had a quick question, when using AN ph perfect base do I use 500 scale or 700 scale ec? Or does it matter?

It has nothing to do with what nutes you use, it is a conversion factor for different ways of measuring tds when using a meter.

AN use the .500 scale if thats what you mean

as sure they say get your ppm to 1080ppm dont unless u wanna burn the hell out your plants start of at 1/4 strength an build from there

hit the nail right on the head, yeah I don't really follow the rec dose kind of see what the plants want and go from there. Thanks everyone for the advice.

dont use that idiotic scale and just use microsiemens (EC) like the rest of the non pot growing world.
TDS is pretty goofy, im not sure why anyone uses it. i actually dont even measure conductivity anymore, i use actuall PPM based on how many grams of calcium nitrate, mag nitrate, MPK, ect. i add per gallon of water. only way ive found so far that makes any sense.

my formula in ppm is

120 N
60 P
300K
120 Ca
60Mg
70S
7.5Fe
not sure on the rest of the chemicals but i use peters S.T.E.M. micronutrient blend. at 7.5ppm iron
