Why wouldnt you buy critical mass ?

hiya there everyone i actually have 3 critical mass at the min only ones that servived from a pack of 18 lol

and yes it was my fault aint had much seed expericance and thought it would be ok to but them in the corner of a maylared room with 2 600 watters goin lol

lets just say they little green leaves turned back and most died about 10 left and slowly the ones with most damged died now left with 3 healthy little seedlings !

fingers crossed i get least one female

i might try and do a grow report if i get a female !!!

I haven't tried Critical Mass but i've heard that it is not quite as nice as some of the other strains - i want to grow nothing but the best. When a strain like critical mass is created the breeders have made most efford into selecting plants that grow largest - not the pheno that is most potent. This is why some exotic strains can miss out a little on the THC - they have been selected for other qualities. This said there are plenty of exotic plants that have both lots of THC and other special features like lavender smell and stuff like that. Big Bud and Critical Mass are selected cash croppers - not connoisseur quality. Just my thought.

yeah id agree with that ! critical mass is about the yiled but also the potency has been a factor !!

to be honest i dont think you can put it in the same cat as big bud potency wise !!

its night and day !!

you have to realize this is the guy who actually creadted big bud !!

and his main goal in the critial project was to have big buds yield but with a high end potency !!

its got a totaly diff family tree to !!!

so i think/ HOPE LOL its many levels above big bud in potency !!!

but suppose will only way ill know if i get a female and can test for my self

Wayyyy late but...its all about Growing out a bunch of phenos!! I was gifted 80 critical mass seeds from my friend in humbolt..kept the best 4 for my own breeding projects...weak you say?not a lot of crystals you ask? my c.m is amazing! My phenos are alittle stretchy but i F.I.M.and supercrop and T5'S in veg...fist size nugs top to bottom that are covered in trichomes..smell i would describe best as deep cheesey skunky diesel-ish musk..every seed you pop will always be dif then the next!

So I have been running some higher end strains for the past couple years and cant seem to get a decent yield off any of them, has me thinking I need a more commercial plant to work in to simply sell for profit and have been eyeballin' CM for a couple months. My question is- is it sellable and would people come back for more? People in my neck of the woods are getting spoiled by dank and I just dont know if they would accept CM, what are your guys' opinions?

its not a bad strain also not the best mns strain I've grown but as far as commercial goes its great its potent, smells and tastes pretty good but again not the best strain I've grown from mns but if your in it for the money that girl will treat you right you can probably find a really good one with selection as I only grew half my pack so far just have too many other strains that all sound good as hell but I'll still grow them out its not bad smoke at all.

I think if you're serious about this variety you should look into doing a run of a few hundred seeds. It seems it's all about finding a plant where all those great recessives show up at once. Rare, but it seems to happen. I know there are some incredible cuts in europe that are pretty highly regarded and in the same ball park as the elite of the elite.
