My 04 BMW when you turn on the AC emits a really bad smell .... Tried air fresheners and everything in the vent, but it still smells like shit, any help?
no idea what the stuff is called but when i used to work for GM we had a special spray that you sprayed in the intake of the AC system while it was running that would kill any mold or other sources of smell. i would talk to your local dealer and see if they got any spray like that.

You can also spray vinegar in the ac intake. It will kill the mold and the vinegar smell goes away pretty quickly. Plus it's cheap and won't harm anything.

Saw one of these today

~sigh~ if only they came with a manual transmission.
I also saw one of these parked at my favorite burgeria ... a Packard Ultramatic coupe in flawless black. Not a seat belt in sight.

53??????....
The pic is of a '53 i believe. i don't know my old Detroit iron well enough to properly id the one I saw.

Gotta say, of the more or less current Caddies the XLR jazzes me lookswise. But knowing that it's an auto ... and worse, with a Northstar instead of an LS kind a spoils it. Jmo.
