First real grow FINALLY!!! all advice welcome

yea but so far I've only been using the root thing whatever it's called lol and the calmag the veg nutrient seems a bit strong even tho it's veganic I did try it again today since they got bigger so we'll see how they react. I also use my tap water I believe it's neutral ph the dude at my local hydro store said it would counteract the ffof in a way idk but so far they lookin healthy on the tap

if you dont have anything to measure ph then you should think about getting a little ph test tube kit next time your in the hydro shop. they are like 10 bucks.
i use distilled water (comes out the gallon about 6.5). i fed at right around 500 ppm today and after putting everything in my ph was very very low. (btw im using the same nutes as you)
point being, that later on your ph will be effected once your putting more nutes in the mix.
this is everything i need to keep my water perfect, on a mediocre level. ph drops and ppm meter was like 30 bucks together

I have a cheap one from petco. I gotta invest in ph up ph dwn I'm just concerned about the chemicals in that stuff not that I know much about them

I read vinegar and baking soda for up and down but I'm not totally sure because I've never did it..

don't use vinegar as it doesn't work for that long, its worth it to get real stuff.
also from what i know, the general organic line is mostly Veganic which means you really don't need to be worried about the pH, the nutes are all plant soluble and easy for the plant to uptake already. I'd check the ppm's and pH of the tap water or whatever you are using just to be sure you don't need to take any extra precautions, but i heard from a very experienced grower that the GO line is mostly veganic and is great to use if you don't want to worry about pH.

thanks they don't seem to have any burns or deficiencys so ph seems to be ok too I guess

I though my ph was off too. I calibrated my meter and its good so if they don't show anything don't worry

i keep hearing the same thing as well, it says on the bottles. but its just so hard to not ph it when your test tube is freakin red!!!! like wtf!!!

how are you going to water once they fill the screen? Are to using the full 600w yet? How high do you keep yours? Mine is bleaching my plants..

I'm gonna use a watering can with a slim nozzle plus foliar feeding, I'm still on 400w and I keep the lights alil over 24 inches over them

Wow 24 inches?? I raised my 600w its now about 12 inches from tops. Before it was like 6 inches so maybe now it won't bleach them. I'm sexing mine trying to get the males out so I can transplant.

Yea man I had em closer before but the node spacing were alil too compact I felt I want them to get alil more space if that sounds ok and even now with the lights so far away they are still growing compact less than an inch each node I'm most certain these are indica and its also starting to smell skunky too

Mine are less then a half inch node spacing. Mine always smell during veg which is why I always recommend a filter throughout the whole grow. Other people disagree but I think its needed. I need to get rid of my males so I can transplant and get rolling lol.

O ok well being stealth is not my main concern right now but il prolly start getting the tent ready for flowering ie. gettin that carbon filter in there

Yeah stealth is mine because my sister is a junkie and children youth took her kids so now we got them in the house. I had just harvested when that happened so when they came out to look at the house, everything was down... Now I'm going again and they been in since then and never even went in the room that's got the closet with the grow in it. I'm not worried as long as I'm not panicking I don't think they will think anything either. No one knows but me and my mom. She's cool with it, she smokes too.... But my other family doesn't. And I'm keeping it that way...
