Sexing at germination

Damn, I just germinated 12 seeds and I recall that it was about 50/50 straight to curled but they are underground now.

I'm subscribing to this so I can keep up with the results of this, it sounds pretty damn cool.

i just subscribed to this thread too...im going to be germing my seeds in the next couple weeks, so hopefully by then we have some results! this is a very fascinating experiment!

Along with keeping track of the numbers of curled vs straight tap roots whoever is testing this should mark each pot that gets a curled seedling put in it.

This could prove to be pretty sweet,especially for the guys germing 100's of seeds at one time.

Thats kinda a no brainer... other wise it'd just be coincidental each time...

I just looked at my seed I started 2 nights ago and one is coming out curled and one is coming straight...I will keep you all posted...

i think that all my plants had curled tails at birth this time around.. i always remember the straight ones because they are easier to plant after germ.

ok I'm starting a new project. this one is going to be more controled then any of my past ones....
so i marked all the seeds that i'm trying to grow by color code. and wrote down which was which... i'll do a week by week check up on it till i can figure out the sex.
10/10 good healthy bag seeds
i'll mark which ones curl and which ones go straight and i'll do a whole follow up with it.
i miss doing science projects. this'll be fun :)

besides people have been going to their "elders" for knowledge for many many years why not listen to them now. lol

I luv it!!!!! Now this is good information to do a test and study from. I will be checking this one out to see if I can find any truth to it. It sure makes for a great topic to discuss...

I got some diesel ryder seeds, I'm germinating 4 at the moment, Ill participate in this experiment as well.

Well out of 5 seed 2 sprouted.And out of those 2,1 curled so I planted that one...We will see if it is a female...I will keep you posted.

Lets Keep this thread alive. If this does turn out to be true then it would help growers the world over. Im germing some chronic in about 4 weeks.

well i got way too many plants as it is but im gonna try it anyways haha 1 more cant hurt. but ill post lots of pics and updates, this is prolly the most interestin topic ever haha if this works its gonna change mj growing forever. KEEP THIS ALIVE HAHA
