This is cool man. You're going to flip when you get a chance to use a full room! I'm... not sure how this amount of space will work out for you in the long run -- i wouldn't have the patience to make it work -- but you've got some healthy little plants in there so best of luck!

ps - when i was your age; i just told my mom I wanted to smoke less, learn to grow, and smoke reliably; then I asked her if I could grow in the house and she said yes. I had a whole closet to myself. Picked up cheap HIDs on craigslist. You'd be surprised how parents might respond to children wanting to better their situations.

Yes it is good to be honest with your parents but when my mum found out I was using cannabis back in the days it wasnt a good experience so I do not want to propose that with her like you did and I think I will do just fine with the stealth box for now, thanks for the encouragement though hehe

you should invest in leds instead of your cfls.

When I started with this stealth box I had no idea on LEDs but now I do, so as soon as my first grow complete I will be experimenting with the LEDs they seem reasonable for this situation..

This period is a veg stage, I have started feeding some Blood&bone for extra nitrogen and within 24 hours the leaf has expanded with a few new shoots..






This plant is in the soils and I think I did pretty well with the soils mixes... the one on the right is suffering root damage and it's understress right now, you can see the leafs are sort of folding down... like a frown face.. I want to transfer it to soils right now but I have got no space for both in one... so sick trying to build another PC for it but I have time constraint.. I guess I can leave it here for another few more days to let it grow some roots back slowly...

and I will need to top of the one in soils soon... until it got like 4 set of leaves to absorbs enough lights/root zone to be able to grow back '2 tops' but at the same time I dont want to top it in this PC growth due to the size of this environment I will LST first and crop the bottom of its main top for better arrangement?? i dont know yet... still thinking about it right now..

Let name this one 'RED' because its in a red looking pot, and now its in sort of a brownish color tray and the other one next to it is Blue for future references and easy to talk about...

Red has been germinate the same time as Blue... but Red has got a bit of roots damage due to transfering into a hydroponic set up (first time doing hydro) I notice the leafs are curling up and turning a bit yellow... since 15/08/2013/.. which is 2 days ago, and immediately I had to hurry and made a second box for it to transfer it back to soils!
I have try to diagnose with PH tester to see if it was ok, and the color came out a bit neutrals at yellowish on the ph test color, so I think the PH is a bit out for hydroponic... Anyway I was thinking of getting a ph down for this and try out to cure it but with no hydroponic nutrients I dont want to fail and simply just go with soils now.
apparently the nutrients I got for soils like liquid sea weed and liquid blood and bone doesn't go well with the hydroponic set up, I need to go with hydroponic nutrients I suppose.. but I will try again when the plant is ready for cloning.

again I need to produce some for smokes first so soil seems like the best option right now.. as I will invest in proper hydroponic setups later on..
I think hydroponic is more better for serveral reasons:

• I can change water once every fortnight.
• Cleaner with out soils pesticides.

but let look at the one in soils I had from the begining...
actually they both were from soils at the start, and at one stage they both were in hydroponics; but I decided to go one with soil like on the 10th/08/2013
and today is 17/08/2013 it looks much more productive...



The leafs are dark green, very healthy, right now its nearly end of week 3 since germination, the odour starting to come out already..
by the way this is a auto flowering straint, from low ryder (afghan kush).
This plant is a female and it has about 3 nodes i think( can some one clarify this for me)
I will try to control this plant by tying it down or cutting the tops up to produce greater yield.. think about it, this is a computer box, all i want is an ounce from this but let see.. I will do my best.

the pot I use is a 6inch tall, 5 inch diameter and it has self watering mechanism at the bottom of the pot, which allows the plants to go for if they need.

the soils I use have:

• Trace elements
• iron and magnesium
• wetting agent
• water crystals
• seaweed nutrients
• zeolite granules

by mixing:

1. seeds raising soils
2. bonsai soils
3. rose and camilia mix

I also feed it blood and bone every couple days with a purpose of giving more nitrogen to the plant.

alright, this is my best of giving back to those who want to start their own grow; I was the same as you looking around on the web and on this site, I am not saying this is the best method but its working for me, if you have any questions on getting any items you see just asks but I am sure you can find anything on the internet these days, just take time researching.

PS When I was your age, they didn't have craigslist, shit they didn't have p c's. We had to grow out in the woods with bag seeds and hope nobody finds your grow.

hehe my mum was like what is that smells?? I am like 'what'? you mean the laundry dryer sheets, mum..?? anyway I went and got my self another odour control..


these costs me less than $15.. and my room smells more pleasant i think moisture absorber is helping with reducing and air wick just does the sprays every hour or so to keep the weed smells away..
at this stage the plants are not even flowering yet, i will be updating for more on that later.. by the way she even thinks it comes from the computer because it was on all day.. maybe the complaints will stop from today..

I started LST yesterday... this is my thirdweek since germination.. this is good time to LST, to get more room for later.

personally no way i would ever veg in a PC case, i am doing 12-12 from seed on two plants LST and is almost as big as my PC would be. never done a PC, but here is a good Odor control go get some activated carbon from a pet store or Wally World. go to a PC store<recycler> and get a CPU heatsink fan cone like this one and 2 fan filter screens metal mesh kind.

Take a pair of pantyhose, put cone in it, fill with carbon take the PC fan filter screen you can use that to keep the carbon tight and not moving. tie up. and attach it to the exhaust fan. you can add it to all of ur fans if you have more then one blowing out. don't use fans for intake, and please PLEASE go to 12/12 or start working on your closet cuz that where your gonna flower it @

Edit: You jus need the cone part not the heatsink.

i commented about 12/12 from seed in my first post in this thread check my current grow from my sig to see how the plants look when 12/12 from seed. ofc those are pure stretchy sativas, yours will not necessary grow that big, but they'll get real big and comparing the grow space you have, it's hard to believe that they will last in this box for 8 weeks..
but maybe with a lot of topping and lsting...

hey MR z. i really like your lill Mini computer box grow room. it actually looks sick.
you will have to wrastle your plant down grow her around the pot as she grows.
grow her in a circle. ive seen it done. dude had like a 16 inch plant and got like 3 oz's.

took out some leafs under the big leaf.
. more LSTs and cut one branch for clone. Week 4.
moisture absorber is doing the job at controlling odour.
flowering lights 12/12 from today.
my first clone:

using jiffy pellet and clonex gel.

REd is growing wide. I am flowering RED too 12/12 and mix with 4000K and 2700K lights with RED/blue LEDs for more spectrums.

Okay another problem with this PC grow I have is odor control..
previously I spent about $30 on products and the smells still here:
I got out take fans cover with dryer sheets lavender smells... and out take cover with dryer sheets as well.. + I have a can of moisture absorber, and an automatic spray can in my room..

When are you fertilizing? I am planning to do this in a week or so and am wondering when to start fertilizing and how often. This will be my first grow and I will be doing 12/12 light cycles from seed to save the space and time.thanks
