Multi-Strain Grow! Alien Nightmare, White Widow and more!

Hey everyone, Welcome to the show.

For this grow I decided to do several strains so I can have a variety (sometimes I get bored with just one) to smoke.
Lets get to it shall we?
First we'll start with my very special "Frozen Mystery" (FM). My buddy and I took a very compact, short and frosty male of (slightly) unknown origin and crossed it to an ICE plant that has/was the heaviest sativa Dom i've grown from ICE out of over 80 plants. This special male was also crossed into a very special polyploidal C99 and her resulting smoke was out of this world! Stronger than a regular Cindy by far. Made me see splotches of bright lights similar to a movie reel when you see the burning and such when I smoked more than I should . We called her offspring "Retarded Blind Date" (RBD).
We've made other crosses with this male with different strains one being crossed into an "Alien Nightmare" but i have yet to get to growing it out. Ive also got an FM male that is super frosty and is a special little guy. I am going to use him to pollinate the various females I have growing and make some outstanding crosses. More on him in a later update...

Next we've got our germing SinCity Seeds "Alien Nightmare" (I absolutely LOVE this strain!) of which i was their test grower (please see my smoke report located in my threads). The seeds came off my original AN.

Next up is a small but mighty little seedling by Dutch Passion known as "Shaman." This is another one I really enjoy growing and smoking. The taste is different, almost like moldy cheese with a hint of sweetness. The last one I grew out was all purple. Purple leaves, purple buds and from the earliest onset; purple trichomes! They weren't clear, ever! Only Purple and more purple...

Next is hopefully going to be an awesome strain; Auto ICE. My buddy had a male Ruderalis (rudy) plant that we crossed with one of my ICE plants I gave him and I'm hoping i can breed the Auto gene out so I can bring an Automatic ICE to the masses. I'm hopeful.

Lastly is a very special Triploidal White Widow (see pic). Ive heard great things of these little mutants and cant wait to do some experimenting with her...

I'm growing in a tent under (only currently) a 150 HPS. In about a months time I'll be switching to a 400 HPS and I get just shy of 11,000 lumens per sq ft. I have a mighty extraction fan and a pretty decent carbon filter. Without my fan on (for air movement in the tent) the extraction fan moves the leaves, talk about negative pressure.

The biggest girl is my FM as she is in her first week of flowering, and boy does she SMELL!! Shes in a 5 Gallon DWC the others are all in CoCo Coir. I have high hopes for this method since its similar to a hempy grow. I have grown high yielding, beautiful plants using only hydroton, a little bit of RW and love in hempy buckets so i figure I should be able to handle this CoCo stuff. Which BTW, I already love...

im definitely gonna watch this one for that Alien Nightmare! i have 2 regs of that and Bluepower F2 on the way!!! i wont be growing them for a few months but i can check yours out
have you grown SinMint? also have that one coming

No I haven't, not yet. I tend to try them all, or at least all that I can while they have them I just haven't needed to buy seeds since I'm breeding.
Some people are having issues with their SinMint (hermies, males) but I never had an issue with the Alien Nightmare. That stuff is fire for sure and can handle tons and tons of stress!

im debatin on trying them all too, especially since there are not many grow journals out there with the strains

im so anxious for this grow now!

edit; BTW you mentioned something about your last AN leaving you seeds? or did i read that wrong/

You read it right. We bred her and selfed her with her own manly pollen...
There was a ton of grow journals on another website (all testers, myself included) but that site went down and so did all the beautiful journals. Sad too because it really showcased their potential from an early on point of view.

Hey Guys welcome back. I've got those pics I promised, though they are a bit blurry. I swear they look good on my phone haha Just gonna have to re-do all of the camera settings. Since i updated I cant seem to get a good shot... blah. On with the show...

So far so good. They smell highly so it's going to be one of those strains that need extra smell protection (only to avoid conflict with the wifey) My carbon filter will be able to keep up but i don't think for the whole duration of flowering. Also i failed to mention that all my little seedlings are going under 12/12 from seed. Next go around ill do a proper veg (another set in about 6 weeks from now).

Noticed on my Male FM that one of his pollen chuckers was opening up so i quickly removed him. Any one want some good pollen? I know my Female FM does...

UPDATE:
The Tent is looking good and smelling better. Well, better to me anyways. It's about time i hang and connect my filter back up. Another week and the FM will be smelling of havoc! My only issue is with the AN's, they havent sprouted above the surface yet however, SSC told me to sand down the seeds a bit to speed them along when I was their tester and completely forgot about that little tip until now. Oops! So it'll take a bit longer but no worries, I have a bunch of AN seeds, not to mention some SWEET crosses made from my original plants. So one way or another, ya'll WILL see some alien action...
Auto Ice seems to really enjoy 12/12 from seed. Cant wait to really do an Auto Ice specific grow.

Shaman. Now these usually start slow for me (even in hydro) and really bud nicely in flower.
WW looking good and trippy... I've never grown WW so for my first time to get a triploid is kinda neat.

I pollinated my female FM with the male FM yesterday and is showing signs of success. Hopefully it takes and ill have really good, pure FM babies to work with. She's really putting out the hair/bud production now too. Shes a slow vegger but can tell she's going to be a quick budding bush.

No pics?! I know, wtf right? They'll be here...

I put up the 400 yesterday in my tent and was worried that I wouldn't knock the heat but I was and still am amazed at the temps. 73-78. No hotter and no cooler. This little fan kicks some serious ass! I have the light just hanging slightly vertical and the fan is on high pointing at the bulb. Perfect! Also with the force of the extraction fan it ruffles my ladies leaves even down low (and that was b4 this new little one). Hooe you know what I'm talking about? I just tried explaining it in further detail only to sound confusing, so I deleted. Lol... Its because I'm out of weed. :'(

Some of these are from a few days ago, some are from today. I didn't get a good shot of the WW before the light popped on so hers will be in another day or two.

All of these were taken today right before lights on....
Some of the leaves are starting to get a blue-ish purple haze to them. Almost starting as my black ice did. Only time will tell.
Its hard to see in the pics but I promise, it's there.

Next up is the little ones minus the WW. The auto Ice is doing great and the shaman is starting to grow. These bastards are always slow from the start for me, even in hydro and I've never done a 12/12 from seed with them yet so itll be fun to see the end result. I hope its as good as the last ones. I swear, those were tasty and the high made me soo talkative! Again, not the strongest strain i have but just as pleasing...

I should mention that I've got a Blue Cheese in the soil and an SK#1 in soil. Both were cracked yesterday and I put them to rest in the AM.
Nothing yet but I thought I'd spark some more interest.

Everything is going as it should. FM is really rank but not so bad as it will be. Still haven't put up the carbon filter but I need to soon because I'm leaving for work next week and my wife would kill me otherwise. Hell she might kill me anyhow when she realizes what I have going on . On that note its my sister that'll be taking care of them, she's got a green thumb like I do and nobody has time for killing plants.
FM will be done between october 1st-8th. She's budding up nicely now too, with a different appearance every day. She has the characteristic ice smell but the mystery side is definitely adding something extra. Not sure what yet but it was what I smelled/noticed in our C99 crosses. Just heavy with funk. If you ever get these seeds from me it'll definitely come recomended with carbon filter in mind. I can tell she's a heavy producer too and would be a bad ass outdoor grow. Any takers?
No pics, I didn't catch it in time so tomorrow ill make sure to click a few. The BC and SK#1 are starting to come thru the soil so another day or two they'll be in the picture.

UPDATE:

Pictures, but they are from yesterday. Had some issues with the comp and had to reboot, all better now.




This is FM. She started gettin really smelly similar to cat piss with skunky undertones. Up to the nose however smells of grapefruit and pepper with the cat piss skunk funk so I connected the filter yesterday and there goes that problem. But the tent now stays at around 81 since I can't turn my fan on full bore in knowing it'll blow the carbon out. Though its that temp they seem to like it so I'm okay with it...

Just was looking in on them and the FM's trichome production is starting to really shine. There's near 2x's the amount since yesterday, even down to the fan leaves. As I mentioned in an earlier post, I have a feeling she's gonna be awesome!

UPDATE: Though this is a quick little thing check out my little shaman girl!
Yesterday there was no hairs and today there's tons (in comparison to none)! But get this...She's only about 3" tall. LMAO!
So now begs the question(s); Should i re-veg her or should i let it do her thing?

I decided to re-veg the two and they're doing great. Already have gotten taller and their leaves are pointing to the light. But they were doing that otherwise. Lol. I suspect a week in veg then re-flip them to 12/12 will do them good.

Small little picture update.

The first 3 are of the Auto Ice. Not sure about the lankyness its got going on. I do especially like the fat leaves its got. Mmm
The mom was one of my ICE plants i gave to a buddy before I had moved.
She was pretty leggy but he didn't pay attention to the male rudy (Auto Ice's Daddy) and he spread his pollen all over. Shit happens I guess?!

The other is a close up of a bottom bud/branch top. Tomorrow I'm going to run the MH (400) to get em frostier. Looks great...

Lastly is the two I stuck back in veg yesterday. The shaman is in the far side, WW triploid up front. (That sticky trap caught a moth too)

Hope its a female cuz she smells pretty.

Look at the trichomes. Still have at least 4-5 weeks to go and she drinks almost a gallon a day as it is.
They've gotten taller and fatter since yesterday. More so the WW...
