The Pit is a rescue. I can't take him to the pound. They would kill him just because of his breed. I can't give him to just anybody, he has been abused. Any of the fuck sticks that would want him, would fight him. He has come along way from the pup that was put in my car while I was shopping. He is actually turning into a decent dog. The dog and I do have lots of things in common. We both bite. As far as class goes, I'm part of that 99% that Romney does not give a fuck about. I work, pay every kind of tax imaginable. I have served my country. I have paid my dues. Self-righteous fucks like you would try to put us all down if you could. Guess people in my class are only good to be shipped off to the middle east to fight bullshit wars like dogs in a ring. You would not know real class even if it did bite you in the ass.

He is doing well. I have trained several problem dogs, I do rescues more than I would like. I think who ever put him in my car knew that. Cesar is great. I have some of his books already. It just takes time and consist training.

Pitbulls are evil little shits. This coming from the vegan who loves animals. I rescued a 6 week puppy, very adorable blue nose, from a guy who wanted to fight it. It was very loving until about 3 months old. I tried to train it to stay alone in the kitchen. When I came back in the morning, the thing wanted to kill me. It was very angry. It was small, so it was funny. But had that been a 90 lb or so adult, I'd be dead. I miss Jenny too, even though she was an evil shit.
I also had a friend whose pit bull was friendly. He went on vacation. His sister fed it and came over to play with it once a day. Then one day she opened the fence to say hello and feed it, the damn evil shit pounced on her and nearly killed her. Now his sister has "no" face.
Pit bulls were bred for evil. All they can do is kill. This is why I hate humans and became vegan. Well, one of the reasons.

those first 3 months did you give the puppy a lot of affection, pats, hugs, picking him up a lot etc?
When he got outta line how did you discipline?
How would you rate his prey drive from what you observed? (particularly with other dogs)
How did he interact with other dogs?

You can't compare a lesser animal to a human. Their reasons for living are much different than humans. That doesn't make them any less important than a human though, just different. A wolverine can be a nice fellow too but will one day snap. They're not pets. Pit bulls aren't pets, they're killing machines which were bred that way. The difference between a wolverine and a pit bull is the wolverine is a wild animal.
The pit bull is a man made selective breeding animal. I'd be all for letting the pit bulls free, but they're not meant for the wild. They're not meant for pets. They're meant for an era where people thought animal cruelty was a fun hobby, much like that fucker Michael Vic.
I once thought like you. It's not the animal, it's what happened to it and they can be good if their "owner" is good. But sadly, it's not true. The domestic dog comes from the wolf. At any time any dog can revert to its old roots, just like a human. The problem is, a pit bull has a will power that was bred into it. A wolf can crush the skull of any forest animal. A pit bull can't come close to that. Unlike the wolf, it'll never give up until it dies.
And yes, you're right. All us vegans are assholes. That's because you meat eaters don't realize just because you don't do what Michael Vic did, that doesn't mean you're not being cruel to animals. I also don't buy clothes from companies if I find out they support sweat shops. Etc, etc. So yeah, that's just how it is.
