The best way to control the PM is to remove the heavily infected leaves and treat with Oxidate. You can use it every day if necessary and up until harvest. Good luck

With only 2 weeks left in flower and mildew that is spreading fast I would recommend flushing for the next week and doing a 1 week early harvest.

Run don't walk to local drug store and get hydrogen peroxide. Put it in a spray bottle (not under too much light as it will burn)

You might need to spray several times, but it's good for your plant as long as you don't overdo it- a light mist should be fine, but you will need to get into the nooks and crannies

i 'm curious if u have tried this method with your plants? does the PM come back within a week or so. sure sounds like an easy cheap remedy. thz

Thank you folks ! I've removed infected leaves and bud , will treat with hydrogen peroxide this morning .
Use fans to blow dry the plants after spraying with h202 and water mix for at least 30 minutes so they dry out. Keeps bud rot away. Do the treatment when lights turn on so they have extra added time in light after blow drying. Not just before a dark cycle. Inner leaves is where it usually attacks without much air current. It actually begins near the roots and stem and spreads up from what I have read.

don't think affects the bud ? ,you can try slow it down with o fat milk diluted with water ,it will help ,but it will be back ,you got 2 weeks ,just leave alone .

next grow ,plants are on veg ,get some NEEM oil ,spray them a couple of time when in veg .I usually do them twice ,but I have done once ,dilute NEEM OIL as states on the bottle ,with slightly warm water , when lights are out give them a good spraying ,all underneath everywhere ,a proper good spray ,after doing this you will not have a problem thro your grow with PM

good luck

There is a product out there called Green Cure. Mix (1.5 Tbl per gallon) and spry as directed (Not so wet it's running off). (green cure is potassium bicarb and don't mix over the 1.5 Tbl to start - can burn plant)

Now you've got the spores in your grow and that bodes bad for the future. You see the spores will hide in every nook and cranny, on fan surface's,wall's, under things, etc, etc. As you move around you'll stir them up. They will land on plants and begin the process anew.
Once this grow is finished. Mix up a large batch of the Green Cure and spray down all grow room surface's. Don't leave ANYTHING out. Repeat with the strong mix of H202!

Lower humidity helps but not a cure.
Dipping all incoming clones (in green cure) goes a long way to prevention!

Microbe (organic) tea's can be magic in relation to your problem!
Take a 5 gallon bucket, a two outlet air pump and the plastic line's with an air stone on each end and a small aquarium heater set to 70deg.
1/3 cup all purpose Seabird Guano
1/3 cup
Mexican Bat Guano
1/3 cup Earth Worm Castings
1/3 cup Alfalfa Meal
5 tbs. Liquid Kelp extract
5 tbs. Black Strap Molasses

Put all that into the bucket fill with water and turn on the air and heat.......at 12hrs of bubbling remove 1/2 cup of the liquid and strain through a panty. Mix that with 1 gallon of water and spray that on your plants. This will kill the mildew AND prevent it's return for about 2 weeks,,,ALL THE WHILE it's a fantastic foliar !!!

Now then, continue the air and heat till 24 hrs ,,, mix 2/3 cup per Gal and now you have a fantastic, organic , Microbe/fert. Tea for Veg.
You can reduce the amounts to make less - because the tea lasts about 3-4 days before the microbes die off. You can extend their life to just over a week by refrigerating.

Oh yeah,,,,use the "sludge" on the bottom of the bucket by drying it out and mixing into your next grows soil!!!!

Good luck.

Something is causing PM in the first place, usually humidity, so unless that is resolved then pm will likely reappear, but if you keep a close eye on your plants you can nip it in the bud- no pun intended bongsmilie

Hi Petflora , 2 fans stopped working at same time at back of flowering room ( I think ) , unfortunately I didnt see them and I couldn't get in I'm on crutches at moment ( bust my leg up cannot load bear ) your absolutely right fans stopped working , no air movement at back of grow room ,temps rose , increase in humidity , my pal who was looking after it never noticed , carried the spores from 1 room to another , I've only realised 3 weeks later (gutted) . Thank you for your input , I've got a vegging room that is showing the first signs of PM ,I'm seriously thinking of binning everything ,sterilising the rooms and starting again ! Do you think PM can be controlled ? Again Thankyou for your time .

Sure pm can be controlled. I haven't (knock wood) had it in over 5 years....
Lower humidity helps but that is not the cure all.
A good clean sanitized grow op, use of C02 (in flower), low humidity (average is 42%) and plenty of fans moving air about. This works for me.

A LAST resort would be to "Sulfur" the room after a grow. Kinda nasty but it will work. But I would still go for the Green Cure - Bleach OR H202 wash down in any combination of the 2.. to sanitize the grow after this.
