Fluorescent light wiring help

Hey!

I'm new in this forum and not even sure if it's right place to ask for this kind of help, but I have a stupid question about wiring..
I need to connect fluorescent light, which has 3 wires (black, white and red) to plug, which has 2 wired (black and blue). Is it possible and if yes, then which wire to connect with which one.

Thanks.

It seems your black white red fixture can be wired for 240 as well as 120 vac... if it is a factory wire that is... and not something added by a wanna be... if you have a test light, see if your black and red are connected inside anywhere... usually AWG [American wire gauge] red is always a "HOT" current carrying conductor... get a plug strip, put new spliced wires black/white to a new plug, and plug it into plug strip, see if fixture all comes on... keep wire cap on red if it does... if half comes on, then get another plug, or wire the black and red together and re-plug into strip... plug strips have built in breakers and will blow if needed... Good Luck man...
