bMeat, please; I saw your "plant"
and, by the looks of it, I would like to decline information
from you. I'm a noob and MY plant looks far better than yours
does in it's dreams! You don't gotta lie to kick it.
If you're inexperienced, please, don't spout adivce.
Sorry, but I don't have time for nonsense.
Another funny, before I quit for the night.
I' see ya guys and gals in a few.
TC.
I got lots more funnies for later if we get bored.:bigjoint:

Civic?
Accord?
What uppers?
Don't the struts mount to the top of the spindle?
You got lowers, strut rod bushings, if not the lower control arm bushings squeaking, prob the strut rod bushings, but that doesn't usually happen until after 200k miles.
Sure it's not the upper strut mounts?
Does it only squeak when you turn the wheel?

Its the upper ball joint... happened to my civic a few years back same sound.
I've been working on my own cars for years now. I got a few problems to fix on it. radiator needs to be replaced, front struts are bad. the car sits lower on the passenger side.
I got all the parts already.
struts connect to damper fork which is connected to the lower control arm but they are all tied to the spindle VIA ball joints.
upper ball joint connects to the spindle and the lower ball joint is part of the spindle connecting to the lower ball joint.
Damper fork bushing are fine. as well as other lower control arm bushings in the front.

The upper control arm is hitting the frame as well on the passenger side.
I have lowering springs to install so I won't need a spring compressor when the time comes.
I can simply adjust prior to installation and raise them once installed.

I'll bring the laptop outside with me tomorrow and PM you if I need any help with it. I think it's going to be simple for the control arms themselves. it's 3 bolts. using high heat Loctite to hold them once torqued... anything seem off to you?? think I got that all right... lol

Squeak happens partially in left and right turn. more so while driving straight. once the wheel is turned 1/4 of the way in either direction it stops. it's not a squeak really more of a CREEEEEEEEEEEEKKK that loud bullshit. and I hit a pothole yesterday and fucked up the passenger side break caliper too so I gotta check that out and see if I seized it or just popped a clip loose. making a fucked up THIN METAL rub noise today. Got a lot of work to do on it.. but only paid 950 for the thing a year ago. haven't put a dime in it till now.
