My first grow

Any signs of sex yet? When are you planning on going to 12/12?

I have one plant at 12" so when all are around 20" to 24". One plant is growing almost an inch per day. My shortest plant is all most 8" about 1/2" per day. So I may flower in about two weeks. Org. I was going to flower on 7-24 but I think I will be way ahead .

No sex signs yet but I'll look close tonight but I don't think I'll be able to tell.

The week was good, I light profed the cabinet. The down side was heat went up a little.

I add gift wrap mylar around the bottom 1/3.

I add 4 more 26w cfl's

mixed 1 gal of water, 4ml of Miracle-Gro 12-4-8, and 7 drops of Schultz 10-15-10.
Both were ¼ strength at 114 ppm.
Mixed a second gal about 150 ppm
9:00 am temp 80 each plant got 32oz to 36oz. I watered until it came out the bottom.

Todays heights at 5:00 pm:

2) 10
3) 9.5
4) 9.75
5) 7.25
6) 12
7) 7.5
#6 is growing very fast 2" today.

I just raised some of the plants by putting them on blocks of wood. This put the tops at about the same height.

I also raised the 400 watt light 1 chain link (about 1.5"). The top of 12" plant was almost 8" from the light now it's 10". The light has a glass so you can't touch. The bulb is about an other 4" up (just guess) and it is not very hot but what kinda parent would I be if I burn my babies?

I got some new nuts at the hydro store Foxfarm and Flora Nova. They gave me some charts also.
I will give 1 thru 4 Foxfarm and Flora Nova will go to 5 thru 7.
I mixed both for an am feeding tomorrow.

Foxfarm
Water 1 gal at 139ppm
Added 10ml Grow Big (6-4-4) now 795ppm
Added 30ml Big Bloom (.01-0.3-0.7) now 1106ppm

Flora Nova
Water 1 gal at 133ppm
Added 3ml Flora Nova Grow (7-4-10) now 395ppm
Added 1ml Floralicous Plus (2-0.8-0.7) now 447ppm

This stuff is thick and messy -1 for Flora Nova.

I will give both in the morning.

I plan on veg. until one of the plants is 24" at this rate it sould be about 11 days.

How tall is your grow setup? Are you worried about them taking off in flowering and getting to tall or do you plan to tie them down? Hope the nutes work out.

I have 85" from the floor to the ceiling. About 12" for the light when it's all the way up. Then another 10" lost to the space between the light and plants. Then the planter height about 10". That leaves 53" for a final height. I read that my plants may triple in height during flowering.

Yeah thats why i was wondering. I'd hate for you to get some beautful plants that just devour your space! If anything you can start to LST them and make sure they stay low..........i can't wait for mine to get that big!

Plant 4 is a little droopy but 6 is very droopy and has been for days. It may be root bound.
They liked the drink my shortest is 10".

I got my new mh conversion bulb in the mail so I ran home at noon to put it on.

It's 400 watts and 32000 lumens @ 7200k.
The old one is 400 watts and 30000 lumens @ 4000k.

With the ( 26 watt cfl's and 1600 lumens each at 6500k I have about 32318 lumens total. It is a little lower because they dont all have the same focal point.

It was root bound, I repotted it and it's helping. It's also #6 and the tallest. I have a moisture meter so only when it gets dry.

Yell, plus the new 400 watt bulb at 7200k (the old one was 4000k) I may be flowering early next week. I'm going to order a good 430 watt hps tonight. I have the yard sale one but I have no info on it ie color, lumens, age. I'll use it until the new one gets here then I'll save it as a backup.

I just checked my babies, 2 more are starting to droop. It's #2 & #4 so at 13" that about all an 8" (1 gal) pot can handle. Tomorrow after a trip to the garden center for Pro Mix soil, Perlite, and bigger pots I will repot all that are 12" or close.

So 2, 3, 4, & 5 will get repotted. 6 is already done and 1 & 7 are only 10"ish so they will wait a few days.

I repotted all the rest into 10” pots. 6 is still a little droopy but grew an other ¾”. I had to move my side lights around do to space issues. I still want to add more light proofing and some mylar in the mid part.
