hey, if any country were to invade our country, i'd surely pick up a weapon and defend my land.. my problem is that no country has invaded us since pretty much ww2, and neither alaska nor hawaiia were states back then, so not even technically in ww2, we'd have to go back even further than that.
how many countries has the u.s. invaded in that time period??

heres my take on joining the miltary , if you have children dont do it. its selfish, and it isnt what its all cracked up to be, ask my little cousins who havent seen their dad since they were first born and now hes dead.
think of your children no one is invading the US. it isnt WW1 or WW2.

btw, i was a lovely child, it wasn't until i got into my 20's that i was a problem, lol..
 
not to mention your wife, whos constantly worrying every day, every hour, every minute every second, of however long youre there for which is usually longer than they tell you, your wife basically becomes a single parent but the dad isnt truly gone shes just got more shit to worry about which is the safety of her husband whos thousands of miles away with little to no communication.

see, that's where you're dead wrong.. soldiers don't fight for my country, they fight for the politicians.. well, and for themselves, after all, they get paid for going over and killing people in the name of honor and all the other b.s. they're told in boot camp during the brain washing sessions..

I'm still annoyed with Bush over Panama, haven't seen good Central American or Colombian buds in the states since that little undeclared war...financed by CIA drug operations after Congress denied him $$ to invade it.

thanks sunni, and i couldn't agree more.. well, you do get to see all the lovely spots in the world, after all, haven't you always dreamed of going over to afghanastan and kuwait?? i know i have... NOT..
