what are your flushing methods?

I know the majority of you are split on the whole flushing process, weather to flush or not to flush, that is NOT the question here. the question is what method and how do you go about flushing. I do not have a wash sink in my basement, or in my garage. I have a 48x48" stand up shower, but it has a (not sure the tech name of it) J pipe (catch pipe) and not a straight drain to the sewer. im about 2-3 weeks away from flushing and im trying to figure out how im going to go about flushing my 7 plants. so asking you fine folks who have been thru this before. im currently in 3 gal nursery pots, next cycle im in 5 gal nursery pots. one more question, you DO flush with PH water, correct? if so that's a hell of a lot of ph'd water I need to stock pile, 63 gallons for (7) 3 gal pots x last 4 days of flowering = 254 gallons. maby I have the flushing amounts wrong.

here is the tricks for yah

how many gallons are your soil pots/bags ..............for every gallon the soil flush 2 gallons of water ............i use 3 and 5 and 7 gallon bags .........from here go to the store and buy distilled water ph 6 ....cheapest for the gallon water jug ..............u just need enought for one cycle

here is how it goes.............peice of wood over the deep sink ....tilt the wood so the water runs into the sink...get a cooling rank and set the bag on top of it .....u need some 1/4inch tubing (home depot u can get in plumbing section.....u know the clear flexie one about 4ft ) the gallon jug open it up and slip the tubing down tho the handle (it is hollow so this is a guild to keep it in there and at the bottom) ....grab the handle put the jug on your head and then suck on the tube at bottom start the flow keep going in circles on the soil untill jug stops .............repeat untill the cycle is done ...........takes about 40 mins to a hour for all the water to drip that will

while that is going on u head to the shower.tub/kitchen sink refill the jugs ph the water and get the next plant up in the cycle

3 gallon soil u only need 6 gallons of water

thanks, I have about 20 gal jugs I use for watering/feeding my 2 tents. there has to be a quicker and easier way to do multiple plants at once. I work 12 hr days 6 days a week, plus full time grow. someone gave me an idea of using 5 gal buckets, drill shit ton of holes in bottom, place my pots inside 5 gal opening, and flush away in my stand up shower. was told 3x water per gal size of pots. 3 gal pots = 9 gal of water.

for every gallon of soil 5 gallons of water you need 35 gallons of water

u only need 2 gallons that is what i have used and all of my smoke has been clear when i cut it

1 gallon of soil needs 2 gallons of water some of the books say 3 gallons but i never heard of 5 gallons
with soil u are just pushing what ever u have added into out the extra .......we can never remove it all

well with this choice u can start making shine ................look into getting a few of these buckets all the way to the top is 6.5 gallons ............just add a air pump and stone to the water for 48 hours before u do it the watter will be hight oxygenated so u are flush not drowning the roots and it will perk up in 24 to 36 hours instead of 48 to 72 hours

if u get 2 or 3 then u can fill it up and do them 2 days later after they got the air .................here is a trick take those gallon jugs fill with water and sit outside in sun shine or inside the tent u will see bubble forming that is air passing it takes little longer but it works (distiling trick)

just set the bucket high put a hose on and cap the end take a nail make a hole at the end and let the water flow tho untill stops while u are eating dinner or sleeping

i stand by my 2 gallon statement and the power/goodness of my smoke ........no popping or crackling sounds and smooth 1 and half foot bubble bong a whole hitter in one pull no cough smooth

With flushing i'm pretty sure all you have to do is water like regular with ph'd distled water (no nute's added) for about a week or 2.. That should get anything extra out of your plant. Really simple, & you can keep your plants in the tent. PLUS it'll give your plants an extra week or 2 of ripening.


*not saying justugh's tech. is wrong, just saying some people say flushing doesnt change the bud at all, and if you want to keep it simple then just water that shit like usual but keep the nutes out.

generally I stand up after wiping my ass, close the lid on the toilet, reach back push the silver handle down and walk over to the sink and wash my hands with soap and water....yep every morning that is how I flush. Would you like me to put it on utube for ya? LMK.

Flushing is a myth and serves no purpose other than to flush soluble N out of your soil which leads to leaf loss which leads to less production. If you need to flush your soil, then you over fertilized in the first place and should be shot.

If you think you can "flush" the plant then you need to be tortured with a 1,000 fleas in your armpits and then be shot. The salt/ions are in the frickin' plant. It aint a radiator.

Now, when you flushing numbnuts can produce a before and after tissue sample analysis of the leaf petioles and come up with a scientific way measuring how this forum circle jerk reduces THOSE alkaloids that supposedly imparts a harsh smoke.....I'll listen.

I do not over fert my plants. feed, water, water/molasses, feed, ect ect. by going on the technaflora recipe for success nute regimen, last week of flowering consists of first 3 days of hitting it hard with sugar daddy (40ml/day), then 4 days of flushing. ive use No pesticides, or other shit like that. just FFOF amended soil and technaflora's nute kit.

I have an 18 gal res I keep my water in, plus another 5 gal res, and also with 3 large air stones with a double air pump. my water is o2 rich always.

I told him he could use molasses instead of SUGAR. molasses is a natural chelater. Read Uncle ben's post above, read it a few times.

your gonna have 50/50 split on flushing. and you will never have a 100% agreement on anything in this world. some will flush, other wont. some will argue that flushing is not needed, other say you must flush. one way to grow is not superior than the other. its a personal growers choice. I may not flush, but I would like to know a great way to flush if I deem it needed in a couple more weeks. I don't like to rush the last minute, I like to plan things out and have a course of action when the time comes.

I don't flush, done side by sides...but if you feel the need to I think best results can be had watering like normal and just using no nutes, its not good for your plants to soak like that. They always wilted for me after flushing using excess water....so regular watering schedule the last week or so with plain water is my opinion.
