Gambling

Not much on big money gambling, reason is I have gathered, I am not big money . I am down for a nickel, dime, quarter game just about every Saturday night when we are at the lake. Once in a while we get 2 games going, we draw the limit to 5 peeps a table, 6 once in a while if it is just Texas Hold'em. Worst case scenario, the wife and I lose 20 bucks, hell I have bought bags of seeds and stems for more...lol

Get some wicked shuffleboard games going as well on a 14 foot table, great stoner game for sure, as you can stay seated while playing :eyesmoke:.

Peace

I've been up to "lake" quite a few times but never won big up there. Living in NV is curse. We go out for breakfast and gamble afterwards totally stoned which is really fun when you hit something. Last week I won 2K and this week I lost a K. One weekend we (wife and I) both hit royals (4K each) but we blew it over the month or so. We keep a gambling fund and in our 20 years we're about 4K behind. I tried playing Texas hold'um live but don't have it but do okay on line. In person they hunt me down and take my money. lol So I stick to video poker. They are almost totally random numbers, it only matters when you play them, not which machine.

lmfao, just get a picture of a dude sitting at a slot machine with a note pad and pen taking it all down till he figures it out. people daily try this shit and it never works NEVER!!!!. yoou can't predict nor can you do anything to help yourself win the slot machines. the amount of money it takes to get it right is allot more than the pay out. it was on CSI once , dude explained that there was an infinate number of possiblities. again it can't be done.
No, I'm just saying they are rigged to take your money.
I wasn't telling you how to beat them.
Telling you not to play them.

Sounds like you have your system dialed in bro.
lots of practice, reading, research and constant advice seeking from the more experienced players. and patience more than anything

with how tight I play I literally never bluff, I basically wait for people to pay me. The vast majority of my money I make is with sets, I have 2 nick names in the poker room, Pilot (due to my aviators) and the set up artist because if I all in against you its usually a set or at least trips top kicker

i've never heard about that, and i don't know how you'd program it to be possible.

but every single game and machine in the casino is programmed to pay out at less than 100% given enough time/plays.
i bought my grandma a used slot machine, was real too.. when you opened it up inside there was a dial to turn up and down the probability of winning

on a slot machine with a finite number of outcomes, an infinite number of possibilities is a literal impossibility.

I don't gamble, even if I just bet a coke on something, I choke. in my service days, I would like to watch the bootleg dice games in the barracks, just to see the fight break out. chess used to be bigger here where I live, but we lost a lot of players to texas holdem...I can see why, theres no money in chess for the average player

I would cut for high card, $20 per cut doubling up on a black jack {between friends} and I understand poker but never played it enough to be considered a worthy opponent. Horse racing on the other hand I could definitely help you out there, my grandfather was a bookie back in the day and he taught me how to properly read the racing form and now I can pick the winner with an accuracy of 86% on avg, yes my family keeps track of such mundane things.
We've been associated with horses in one manner or another for well over two centuries and rumour has it we were exiled from Ireland for being horse thieves...amongst other reasons ;)

heres one for you guys, ive always wondered this.

1v1 blackjack.

you double up every time you lose... once you win, youre right back at square 1, and re start. would that work?

bet 10$... lose. down 10$
bet 20$... lose. down 30$
bet 40$... lose. down 70$
bet 80$... lose. down 150$
bet 160$.... win.... (win 320.. 160$ bet, and 150$ that you lost ) now youre +10$ and can start from square 1 again.

BUT, dont let it get to the point where youre at 3200$... 6400$... 12,800$... 25,600$... 51,200$....104,000$, 208,000$,,,416,000$ it adds up fast!!! lol.
