could you tell me what the best led light would be for a small foot print mabey 2 foot by 2 foot? is there any units that can do both stages or do you need a red bloom booster? how do they compare with end product to hid?

This is what I use to keep my mother plants and start my clones (all under one). The mothers get great thick green growth, but I've not flowered anything under it yet.
I'll probably experiment with it down the line, and will definitely go with sunshine systems when I upgrade my veg/flower light

You really should check out the LED & other Lighting sub forum. There is even a sticky thread for this exact reason.. we all kindve stick together and have the same general answers, but each has there own angle on things. 2x2' is a pretty easy footprint, but you will want to LST and consider a scrog. I would recommend looking into California Lightworks' Solarflare Series, there are better companies- but not for the size you are looking for. They still use a mixture of 3 and 5w diodes, whereas most "smaller" panels would stick with 1-3w'rs. Warranty. And reputable. So at least you have their word. They also offer a GFP (grower feedback program) for a discounted price- they alternate the Solarflares with the Solarstorm 4 and 800. I would go for the SS200Vipar LED also offers a panel for a 2x2, and just released their '13 series

I use yieldmasterleds.com lights they work great for veg or flower. They also sell custom spectrum lights if you want to change it up. They are also cheaper than most other brands.

Im still in the process of building my bloom room, the veg room is done with one t5 so far.

Im looking at flipping 40 plants every 30 days or so.

The person teaching me hates led lights like so many others, what can i use that will work and is not so expensive i can still afford them and how many would i need.

Sorry for all the questions, im still a little lost

most top end LEDs can do both. The one i use works great for flowering and veg, LEDs are the wave of the future my friend.

That is called "thread jacking"

This*thread*is about a 2'x2' space. Your question is regarding 40 plants and I do not think 40 plants will fit in a space that small, so you should post your own question.

40 plants every 30 days ? Have you harvested 1 plant yet ? You are more than a "little" lost.
