update onmt first post dying seedlings....

so i posted here a week ago (http://www.rollitup.org/marijuana-plant-problems/696219-first-post-need-help-2.html) about a seedling that was dying, turned out i gave her to much (or any) nutes, and didn't have good circulation.
i flushed them, repotted and 'upgraded' my grow closet, but still no signs of recovery or new growth.
should injust keep waiting or is there anything else i can do to help.
also thought this would be a good oppertunity to show you guys my grow closet!!

just an inconspicuous closet...

or is it.. i have a mini fan airing out the room and pulling in air from a hole (netted) in the back.
at the moment there are 3x23watt cfls (2x120watts are arriving next week).
the closet holds pretty steady at 68-75degrees and doesn't drop under 40%rh.

they're in a seed starting coir with some perlite once they're strong enough (if they get to be..) ill replant them in coco.

Pic 4 looks like you have the light 1/2 inch from the seedling? Looks pretty fried.

its about 1.5 inchs from the plant....
so theyre dead huh....fuck...

put your hand where the plants leaves are, if you can feel the heat it's too close.

Probably not going to make it...but maybe. You learned your lesson on the nutes, as in never add any until they are at least 2 weeks old. You'll do better next time because you learned some lessons.

PS - in that last pic your soil/peat walls look a little too wet, unless it was taken after you just watered it. Make sure you are not over-watering as well. Invest in a moisture meter, WalMart has them for 10 bucks. Also make sure the PH of your water is right around 6. Soil likes a little higher, 6 is kind of a medium.

measures the moisture in the soil helps keep from over watering. seedlings only need a lil light pull the light back a lil stretch can be cured with a transplant but dead is dead.

I guess if we would've known that you had your lights so close in your first post we probably could've saved them. When needing a diagnosis try and detail every aspect of the grow. We can only diagnose with the information YOU provide us. Sorry your plants got fired, next time keep your lights at least 10-12" away from the tops of the plants. And make sure you check with the inside of your wrist, like women do with baby bottles, if it's hot on your wrist then its definitely too hot for a seedling. Seedlings don't need all that intense of lights when theyre that young, considering there primary function for the first 10-14 days is establishing a healthy root system. As soon as foliage starts developing at a faster rate, you'll be able to notice this, that's when you start feeding and giving more intense lighting aka vegging!! Hope this helped some and good luck in your future endeavors, and as long as you learned from this, you'll be a better grower in the future. PS don't let this minor set back get you down, better now than 4 weeks into flowering and spider mites anal rape your girlies. Take care.

but im pretty sure that with CFLs 10-12'' is way to far away.
and read that as long as theyre not less then an inch they wont fry...
theyre not hot/powerfull enough. and too far away are rendered useless...
but i may have read wrong.

just ordered some new seeds, next grow will be way ore knowledgable.
