That is why we need to deal with crime and other social problems on an economic basis - not a racial one. I am with you all the way on economics - the ultra-rich can afford to pay a shit load more in taxes - like freakin' Jimmy Carter rates on Mitt Romney types and corporations. However, once that damn race card comes out I want to vomit. Minus the race card the coalition of folks that would rebalance the economic scales are a force to be respected. All this race baiting does is fracture us into squabbling groups that have limited voice and power.

Illegal? Hell no. I'm on a job program where unemployed LEGAL immigrants who are having trouble getting a job can work for me for 6 months. They get paid a good wage (18.50 an hour) and the government subsidizes their pay 100% for the first 6 months, after which if I like the employee I can keep them on permanent. I fire them after the 6 months every time and hire a different worker each time. That way I get good employees who work hard that I do not ever have to pay for, Taxpayers pay for it. As long as you hire a new guy every 6 months it can be perpetuated as long as the program remains in effect. Usually the same guy will work for me 12 months out of every 24, they go back home during their 6 months off and come back and get rehired after 6 more, as long as they can meet the requirements to stay in the program ( fog a mirror).
I get the work done, for free (Not really since I have to pay for the fuel and other things, plus I feed them and give them beer after a 16 hour day), they make a good wage, good enough to only work half the year if they choose. We all get the product to market for a good profit every year. Oh sure, taxpayers are throwing their money away, but its a government program intended to help discouraged workers so it must be good right?
Its way better than paying for your own labor out of your own pocket.
During harvest season I just pay the custom combiners to come through. My own Combine was sold last year for $180K, which will pay for years and years of custom work.
I never have to worry about competition, Government is subsidizing my crop to the tune of several six figures per year in profits. paid for by taxpayers. Then government FORCES you to use my product.
I don't have to do shit really, to make bank.
People wonder why there are so few american farms nowadays, its because farmers and ranchers think they can do this job by themselves without government. Its been my experience that if you use the government programs available and comply with all the idiotic qualifiers, the government will funnel other people's hard earned dollars to you with hardly any effort required on your part.
Some people might call it farmer welfare, but I am expected to produce something, unlike welfare which has no requirements other than being poor.

The Arizona Department of Health Services, which oversees the program, issues cards that allow patients to use medical marijuana, grow it or both.
