Opinions: How many more days, Critical Jack, quality bud shots.

How many more days do you think I should give this Critical Jack plant? First time growing it really don't wanna cut too early (or too late for that matter) but I am thinking it's getting there plus I don't want 50/50 amber/cloudy or anything maybe half that ratio. You can see some starting to turn and already turned amber in the closeup but I still feel like I have growth going right now and want the most swell I can get without compromising.

Thanks for your input! Originally I was thinking of going 65-70 days on this, 70 days would be exactly 2 weeks from now but felt like it was starting to move along quicker. I'll feel it out a bit longer and see how she progresses, I definitely would like to get a bit more swelling out of it if possible but don't want to harvest with too many amber trichs (a few though)

You are close. Looks great too. I have a Cr. jack about a week into flower. Something to look forward to. I would say within a week if you don't want couch lock. 2 weeks if you want more of a narcotic effect.

Either way, start feeding it just plain water soon .. Very soon. And yes... It will swell more. Prob witnhin the next 2 weeks

I'm feeding it about 400ppm (combined) of FloraBloom (diluted dose), Dry KoolBloom (slightly diluted dose) and Floranectar (standard dose) right now (down from 1200-1300ppm) I don't think I am going to completely starve it and do a straight water flush but I have backed waaaaaay down on my nutrients and removed the Micro so there's less N. I flushed my last few plants so I am trying this to see what kind of a difference it makes if any, the more I read on the debate the more I don't like the idea of completely starving the plant during the swelling phase but I do like to feed extremely light.

I have done overnights of Florakleen recently to clear up the rootmass and flush away salts plus I have changed the buckets quite frequently but will continue to taper down the ppm's a bit until it's next to nothing at the very end.

Thanks, I'm loving this plant... Premature buds hardly even dry actually taste great too I had a few small branches drooping last week.

i am trying things out though, I just fed again instead of going to nothing I am going to let the plant eat off this next day or two during swell then backing way down. It's been moderate feed lately already but I just gave them 820ppm this last time after a quick rinse in clearing solution again.

ill report on the smoke not using a conventional flush technique honestly so people will know how it worked. If it turns out bad and tastes like ass, I'll be honest about it because I am testing the theory of feeding when it needs it most instead of my usual flush. They will get a day or two of nothing that's it.

i have been using a molasses product the past couple weeks and my final waterings will be nothing but. I am using flora nectar which has molasses so I am totally into that idea. My final few days will be really mild, this was the last big feeding and still reasonable compared to the 1200-1400 I usually do.

Yeah, I ended up finding seeds in some buds but noticed no signs of Hermes until chopping so I chopped it early on Friday... Sucks but hoping only half is seeded, looks like a big yield for 1 plant too bad half is confirmed ruined and seedy. I have lots of critical jack seeds which is kind of cool.
