hey guys, Are led's really that bad? I mean, they cost alot, so they have to be good for something. I was going to spend 100$ on a MH, but i saw the led's and they said that it will save me money because of the lower wattage, but i can still grow humongous plants with them.

Search on youtube for a hps led grow.. they have a side by side comparison... LED plant stretched and yielded almost nothing compared to the hps

ganja goddess, Keep up your selfish holier than thou additude, it works well. But when you do come off of that high horse, you should remember that MJ is not just a plant or herb it's a medicine and ALOT of people use it for just that purpose. Lets not BS about your cash crop buddy, you arent growing a personal amout. Your 2k+ system sounds like it should be real cool. But i dont want to pay for it in the long run because you need to make your money back. Thus your helping set the price for the area, and hydro in all but cali, is FAR over priced. Thanx dude.

I guerilla grow far more than your 2k system, I promise you that kid. So dont BS me about coming to see a "real grow op". And my outdoor, shit, with what im working with, i bet would hit harder than your dro any day.

Dont forget this is a place to share and learn, something your standing in the way of and at best making fun of. It's underminding this whole site, which im sure you have learning plenty from. I plan on helping out my fair share when it comes to outdoor but i would want to encourage every one who can, to just grow one plant, clfs in rubbermaid container if you have to. Im done here, i'll read your response i promise. But i'll leave this and you alone.

Yes you can. But your results will be shitty compared to using HID's. Just stop asking this question and look at this video on youtube YouTube - LED Marijuana Grow

Shows a 500 dollar UFO LED light vs. 400w metal halide switched to hps for flower. The 2 plants are clones and conditions are the same. Side by side grow so STOP ASKING. You pick which plant you would rather have. But ill give you my advise if you like smoking bud then go with HID. If you dont like bud or money buy LED's. Simple as that look at the video and see for yourself.
