Kronic's Supersoil

Just started cooking my first batch of organic supersoil:
4 gallons organic soil (peat moss, algae, dolomite, limestone)
1 gallon perlite
1/4 cup 5-1-1 fish fert
1/4 cup 6-9-2 bone meal
1/4 kelp fert
1/4 unsulphered molasses
1 tsp epsom salt
Gonna layer 18 gal rubbermaid bin with washed newspaper shreddings, banana peels, dry seaweed, then my supersoil and finally top with either some Roots or Happy Frog soil.
By the time my supersoil is finished cooking, my last 2 synthetic-fed (Advanced Nutrients pH Perfect/bud candy/big bud/overdrive) plants should be harvested and free up the rubbermaid.
I also have another rubbermaid going with 3 sativas in 10 gal of Happy Frog, that will be getting some AACTs.
I'm currently running 400W magnetic HPS supplemented by 40W 7800k flourescent tube. Ona gel for odor guard and oscillating fan for heat control. No need for stealth; grow room is set-up in an internal utility closet, painted flat white that's approx 6' long x 5' wide and 8' ceilings using only 3' x 2' for grow space. My temp is 79-81 with lights on and 74-75 lights off. Humidity always below 55%.
I grow perpetually, so constant 12/12 photoperiod.

Just curious if my amounts work together? Working on limited budget and options; nearest hydro shop an hour away and still limited organic items. The nurseries around me mainly for palms and citrus, so still yet not much help. Need some serious organic loving in the Sunshine State lol. Can't wait for legal medicine here, so i can reap the benefits of 365 sunshine and 0 frosts!

How long do you let that mix cook? 30 days? I've been considering supersoil just for the simplicity of water only.. But have a lot of coco left over.

Could I take coco, mix in some peat moss, perlite, amend with dolomite lime and your amendments there? Would it do as well as SS? 'cause that's fairly simple and would really simplify what I do to grow.

If u have access to azomite and alfalfa meal, i would add some of that too. Stay away from bone & blood meal from cows and pigs. Try using fish bone meal, feather meal, kelp and alfalfa instead. Who wants to smoke dead animals?

True. We have a good local compost company here, they sell to the whole province.. but it's composed with treated human waste :/

whoa never ever use compost from any animal that consumes red meat!!!! the waste is super concentrated with bacteria and diseases.

I use fish bone meal; i said to stay away from cow & pig bone meal, if you read it more closely. They usually use scraps from the floor of slaughter houses. Just not something I choose to put into my soil or plants.

Well yes I do consume all types of dead animals, lol. However, my gf doesn't eat red meat so thats why I don't use anything from mammals

Whats fish fert?Now I'm just confused because fish bone meal is high in P, like 3-18-0, and what you have listed is 6-9-2. Can you be more specific?

I don't have access to guano, closest hydro store is over hour away. Fish fertilizer is from fish hydroslate and my fish bone meal is made local. NPK numbers don't really matter in the long run as long as your plants get what they need

Added some earthworm castings and some high P guano to my supersoil. I found a garden in the area that has everything needed for SS except azomite and premium organic soils, but they make their own soil for really cheap. I'll pry buy some for topping the supersoil, i'll have to add some perlite and coir to it since its really heavy being just moss, bark, and sand.

Added 1/4 cup of blood meal and coffee grounds to SS. I didn't want to add it in but didn't think I could make up for the nitrogen without it. Still needing some lime, rock phosphate, azomite, and humic acid. Might use some ground egg shells instead of lime and kelp should provide trace elements instead of azomite. I've heard that humic acid isn't too important; also dont have access to it or azomite except internet. So i guess that leaves rock phosphate...
