Thanks Blunt Ed things are poppin' pretty good since the warm up. I expect like last year they will be reaching for the sky for another week or so and then start to branch out.Nice plants, there getting huge.
Thanks, my enter button hasn't been working either. I think it's some sort of bug in the system... LOL no pun intended.Looking nice except for the purplish one. Ive only had a borer once that I knew about. it looked like a slit or gash almost like yours and I was so confused about it I cut off the top of the plant and saw this big bug. Im pretty sure it was a caterpillar and not a beetle.(foggy memory) at first I thought it was damage from being bent but found out it wasn't. if it is a borer I would just be worried about it laying eggs and being a bigger problem next year. ///my enter button hasn't been working for a while too. don't know why but its been like that for a while.
The enter button issue has to do with internet explorer, try google chrome or firefox. Thanks, my enter button hasn't been working either. I think it's some sort of bug in the system... LOL no pun intended.
It's a good idea but it's just a little late in the season. They are already showing pre flowers and I expect they will be flowering by 1st week of Aug. I need to be a little more decisive when things get a little root bound and re pot, not just see how it goes.you could place them into bigger containers then bury with soil. That would keep the plastic they are in now cool and retain moisture longer.
Good call, not sure which one is more suspicious. Taking a shovel into the woods or the containers. It will act like a "beer coozie" and insulate your containers.
