When to transplant?

So just about 5 weeks ago I got bored and decided to throw some of my best reg seeds from some shake I had into a random potting bowl with fresh soil and put it outside and water it( Didnt germinate, Like I said was bored and just did it to see what would happen). Sure enough about a week later little sprouts popped up. Although my friend told me I kinda started to late for them to be fully harvested. My idea was when it starts to get to cold just move them inside and finish them indoors if that's semi easily possible?
(Also this is my first time growing)

Anyway its been 5 weeks now and my plants are to this

So is that pot to small for there size now? My Friend told me I should transplant them into a 5gal bucket so I can move them easier if I decide to move them inside when it get to cold.

Also any feedback on how the plant looks, tips, or anything I'll greatly appreciate.

Just a few questions man, before I ask my questions first things first. Get the plants into separate pots for sure, 5 gallon homer buckets would be great.. Although I don't know if you were saying all of them in one? If so then no, lol don't do that..

I have so many things to say you probably wont read all of it haha

They should be abit bigger than that for 5 weeks, although they look green and healthy. I would imagine after a month of veg the roots are taking over the pot. They're more than old enough to be in their own pot, and for future reference start each seed in it's own pot next time to begin with.

Once they're in their own pots you'll notice them start to take off a lot more, which they'll definitely need since it's getting close to outdoor flowering time..

As for bringing them inside, how cold does it get around late Sept - early October? They probably wont need any longer than that.
& were you thinking of using an HID? or would you know how to set up a grow room or are you planning on just putting them next to a window?

goodluck man, hope you get some females!

The sooner you get those plants separated the better. Hopefully the roots aren't too badly intertwined and you still can...be careful!!! ALWAYS start plants in different pots.

Alright il def keep that in mind for next time..and yes I actually read all of it xrangex lol and it usually gets around mid 60s. As for if I do go inside im not sure what il do yet not even sure what a HID is lol I gotta couple months to think and do some math on the cost, research, and what not..But im thinking a pretty decent set up if I do def not just putting them by a window. Thanks for all the help.

Also final question but how do you go about transplanting with my situation of the intertwines? I know there probably a billion guides I just wanna know the best guide if you know of one or just tell me an easy way.
