If you want it fast there are only two that are real quick AND dank. Top 44 is legit and done in 44 days, it's pretty dank, very oldschool flavour and smell, but not quite OG power. Yields are more than respectable, good SOG plant.

Ak 48 from Nirvana can be finished in 48 days with the right pheno, otherwise it takes up to 55. Better than Top 44 in my humble opinion.

Or just be happy with 60 days, there's TONS of great reefer that finishes perfectly in 8 weeks out there.

Greenthumb starts his flowering days at day 1 of 12-12, while Nirvana starts day 1 when flowers start to cluster. A bit deceiving and makes 48 days more like 65 days.

Nah with top44 soon as they show sex they're raring to go, just clone, flower, boom. Of course you need the right pheno but 6 weeks and they're done. It is ridiculously boring reefer to toke though, kinda defines 'underwhelming' in my books. I'd rather wait 12 weeks for a good OG...

I don't know of anything that is really "done" at only 5 weeks, but I can think of several that will legitimately finish in 45-50 days, or around 6-7 weeks.

-A few of the old school pure indicas like Afghan #1 and Hash Plant will finish that fast.

-Green Crack (clone only) will be legitimately done in 45-50 days. I've run the Sickmeds Green Crack S1 from ceed, and my pheno was legitimately done in 50 days from clone (took a bit longer from ceed). You can see the pictures in the grow report in my sig.

-You already mentioned Critical plus.

-There is a strain called "top 44" that is supposedly done in 44 days, though I can't comment on its quality.

-Silver Pearl is another good old school strain that finishes in about 45-50 days. Sensi used to offer it, but I think its "clone only" now, probably circulates more in Europe than in the USA, and you're probably going to have a hell of a time finding any.

-Bogglegum is supposed to be a 6-7 weeker, too.

I'm sure there are others; try Google. . .you'll find some.

I have a good pheno of CH9 Vintage 2006. The first time from ceed it finished in 50 days. I am flowering clones my 3rd time now, and it finishes beautifully in 42 days now every time.
It's Genetics are Afghan Hash Plant X Power Plant X Jack Heher X Hash plant.
It must be the hash plant influence, but this legitimately finishes in that time. It doesnt yield huge though. The best for me so far has been by topping it a couple times. 65-75 gr per plant vegged at 6 weeks, flowered for 42 days.
Great resinous smoke, tons of kief though, but a great all around day use smoke. You would expect it to be more indica stone, but it is actually uplifting and spacey. I think the Jack Herer brings that to the table.
Dumb name, good smoke.
I mostly use it as headstash and don't screw with grooming a lot of the kief.

ive noticed even wen growing shit that says will be ready in 6-7 weeks. its usually 6-7 weeks from budset.. not from 12/12 .. so really u can add another 1-2 weeks onto that time.. and if u want shit that's going to be 75% cloudy trichs and 25 % amber.. ur going to need to take that 6-7week strain to 8-9 either way..

I agree there. I count from when it's CLEARLY in flower not the flip. Takes about a week to get into full flowering mode. So yeah, if from the FLIP then add at least 10 days. I figured if I was into marketing I'd fudge that detail seeing as being a fast strain makes it more desirable to many so I've always counted on that extra week on top of what is advertised.

Just posted about the Top 44 on another thread. I got it back in 03 from nirvana and yes it was a true 44 day strain, I also had their Ak-48 which was fast too, but taste wise the top 44 won. Ak-48 much better yield.

No, the top44 took 44 days from the time I put in 12/12. It is arrogant to tell people how long it took to flower their plants, like we don't know how to read a calendar. I ran the top 44 for a year and it was top notch, a fan favorite, which is why I held it so long because it didn't yield as large as I would have preferred. And that was the only downside.

Sorry to hear that about your top 44. The pheno I got was white with frost and a great up high, and tasted like raspberry. Defiantly comparable to the og's I've tried. Yield was weak though.

Really? NOT FAIR. At least we got decent yields in SoG. It looked pretty good, had nice bag-appeal. Flavour was like a mild skunky or widow-ey flavour. Why didn't I get the raspberry? Well I guess I got the raspberry but not the flavour lol...

Dunno mate with us what we did was: Grew out the mom nice and big, she had fat pre-flowers everywhere. Clone, root for 10 days, 'transition box' on 12/12 for 4 days, straight into flower, 6 weeks later they're ready.

However you want to split hairs, that's when it was ready.

For sure. Some people just want to be argumentative. I did the same, pre-sexed mother and all the clones finished at 40-46 days never any longer. Mad Hamish and I should know if we both ran the damn things.
Plus I also had a seed I created by selfing a swiss miss(also nirvana's), it was a runt and super low yielder but that girl flower in the 45ish range to.

So yeah, High Five it dude.

Not like this Dr. greenthumb as done anything new. Any strain mixed with a quick afghani has the potential to flower in 45 days from clone and possibly from seed if conditions are right. 85 degrees, CO2, and perfect nutes. Just like the 35 day marketing ploy.

Yup for sure and the Nepalese are also really fast. Some selective inbreeding and bang there she goes... It's not the first time I hear about a 35 day strain, but Dr Greenthumb's reputation leaves a lot to be desired if I can put it like that...
