smoking nutmeg, thats a new one on me, i can imagine hoards of kids raiding their moms pantries in search of nutmeg & other spices to get a buzz~

Years ago I did something similar. Ground up the whole nutmeg nuts?, added to a pot with water and turned heat on medium, then added a couple tablespoon of vinegar which caused a layer of precipitate to form on top. I then skimmed the layer, dried it a bit, put it into gel caps and ate it.My friend used to do some shit with nutmeg back when we were in high school. I cant remember what he did exactly but he started with a whole nutmeg root or whatever and boiled it then scraped off the film and ate it or some shit.

I can't say it was worth the effort, a bit of a buzz, but nothing like what some people described. At the end of the day, nutmeg probably ought to be left in the kitchen and used to make stuff taste good.
