I have a large female plant that has pre flowers on her. I have had her outside since march. I was just wanting to know if its too late to transplant her into a larger pot since she is showing pre flowers? Or just leave her be now and let her finish? I started her like in a 2gallon pot, I never thought she would get this big. I am using fox farm happy frog soil with fox farm nutes. If I can transplant her, whats the best way to do so.CHERRY BOMB OUTSIDE 07_14_2013 006.jpgCHERRY BOMB OUTSIDE 07_14_2013 004.jpgCHERRY BOMB OUTSIDE 07_14_2013 007.jpgCHERRY BOMB OUTSIDE 07_14_2013 008.jpgCHERRY BOMB OUTSIDE 07_14_2013 005.jpg

Go ahead and transplant her, let your soil get dry. kind of squeeze bucket all the way around to loosen, grab bt the base and flip her over. She should slide right out.

not to late. will slightly stunt for like 3-5 days. wow man pretty big for a 2 gal pot tho.
to bad you didnt throw into a 5-10gal shed be a monster lol.

but like hydro said. i like to do a day or 2 after a water. take the post and roll it around to loosen the root ball.
than put ur hand around the stem. having the stem between your middle and ring finger. and give the bottom
of the pot like a spanking haha and the dirt should come out as one nice and smooth. if not dont worry shes just being a fussy bitch
cuz u havent moved her lol. work with it and it will come. put into a 7+gal man get some nice soil. shes a beauty. good luck with harvest sir.

Depends on when your last feeding was, and what strength your using. I usually just drop down to about half of what i was using and give them a good watering.

That girl should be a beast by the time she finishes. After she adjusts to the transplant you may want to start thinking of a way you can support her limbs for later in flowering.
1/2 strength nutes, and I'm not that big a fan of superthrive. Some strains dont seem to like it much, that being said. If you've already used S/T on her in the past then go for it. Evidently she liked it.

Transplant anytime, bigger is almost always better. If she was in full flower I would say no, but pre-flower means still vegging, so go for it.

I been feeding her full strength grow big with some molasses. I have not started any bloom nutes yet. I feed er once a week with just ph water in between waterings.

yes, I been trying to find ways to do that. I was thinking maybe cutting a wire that people use for tomato plants. Then just wrapping it around her.

so what size pot? 5gallon or maybe 7gallon?
I would go with the 7. The idea for cutting the tomato basket should work fine.
I always run my veg nutes til the plant has pretty much finished going thru their stretch. They go thru an exlposive growth spurt during stretch and can really use the nitrogen of the veg nutes.

I seen 5gallon and 7gallon smart pots would those be good to use or just a regular plastic pot?

Usually the bigger the diff in pot sizes when transplanting= a lil longer period where they don't seeem to be growing much. But that's only because they're focusing on root growth so don't let the period of seeming like no growth bother you.
