Thats not poison ivy. Poison ivy has 3 leaves branching off a red stem..

ppl use it as an ornamental. It has its merits. I've never planted one however. I don't even recall ever seeing it in any nursery. It will climb as high as the tree that supports it. I've seen plants on trees as high as 75'. It has red leaves in fall making it kind of handsome really. But invasive it is.

True enough. It's a weed when it gets where it shouldn't be.. which is always. Although it can be good looking.
