Ok cool man I was unaware that it took time for that to happen. I wasnt sure so thats why i suggested reading about it. So what does a guy do in that situation then? like if you are watering with phd water and your run off won't go above 5. how would you fix it?

That's why I suggested, if you're gonna get serious about it, or anticipate having problems, then invest in a $20 or less PH pen.

BUT AGAIN, I will say, your conditions are identical to mine.
Tap water right at 7.9-8.0, MG soil, and I don't PH at all, don't even check anymore.
My last grow even used MG all purpose nutes with no perlite, this grow is still using the MG soil, but with MG perlite, and diff. nutes.
If you're NOT going to get serious into checking your PH, I wouldn't worry about it.

i didnt put perilite in my soil it was there allready and i do have some all purpose MG nutes i was just gonna opted out for Marinis seaweed fert and maybe mix it with a fish fert there both apparently low but the fish one has more N for veg and seaweed more P.. I have heard the kelp is a like magic with the hormones and what not

Not a lot you CAN do bro.......
I've heard of guys giving like 6.8-7.0 water until they get the runoff to come up, but then too, you gotta remember, runoff isn't an accurate read of what your actual soil is.
That's why IMO, a pen is best if you're really concerned about it, but I have never had probs with nute uptake,leaf curling or anything, so I've never really gotten into it.
I got kinda bewildered when I checked my soil right after watering, and it read higher than my water going in (9.8+), then about 4 hours later, it read same as water (7.9), then when she was dry ready to water, it read about 4.8
That's when I said "FUCK IT, I'm not having problems, I'm not going to lose sleep or hair over it."

Right now, since you're getting a slight burn starting, I wouldn't feed ANYTHING for at least another week or so.
If you watch your plant, she will start giving signs, like light colored leaves, or some yellow spots scattered about the leaves indicating she is getting hungry.
Generally speaking, when any discoloration starts at the leaf tips, it means too much of one thing or another.
Check out the chart.
Only reason I mentioned the MG perlite, is because it is showing on the label to have nutes in it as well.
Just a note, I have not run across a soil yet, that won't benefit from additional perlite being added.
The MG moisture control doesn't seem to have any, at least that is visible to the eye, but I really saw a difference when I added about a 40% mix of perlite to the soil.
It just dried out so much more evenly and faster, and was not compacted as much.

Kelp, I haven't tried side by side with a plant without, but I know it smells a little.
I got a whiff of my water jug after having kelp in my nutes, and rinsed it several times before I realized it was the kelp smell, not something spoiled in there.

I do want to stress, that most of the information provided is advanced - experienced tips.

I know you want to do the best on your first grow and you will do your best. Your best will get better and better each time, so don't worry about "doing it wrong" your learning and its fun.

I would say take all this information in, and build on it. I would recommend for beginning growers who haven't found what "works for themselves" yet to use 0-0-0 soil and no nute's over 5-5-5. This allows you to make little mistakes and be able to learn forwards instead of backwards. (Meaning not learning how to repair, learning to prevent.)

well for anyone who is interested on the final conclusion of this post after taking into consideration what the pros here have told me I was able to narrow it down to nute burn and a PH inbalance feeding 6.5 ph water and there growing more so flourishing.

Way to diagnose a problem. A lot of people throw 5 remedies at a single problem, which fixes one problem and causes 4 more. Just keep it nice and simple is what I say. And pick up some Fox Farm soil next time. GL
