Leaching and general watering

Hey, I'm a newbie and my babies are 14 days old. When I water, do I dry out then water till it runs out of bottom? I haven't let it run out of bottom as I'm scared I'll overwater them lol. Also I have notice a little leaf twisting and read that leaching is good to do. But again, if I do that, won't it drown the little souls?

Easy test is pick up your pot and if it's heavy then it's well watered and when the pot lightens then it's time to water :-P

Thanks, Even at such a young age tho? They are autoflowering strains by the way. Just don't want to cause harm lol

If you keep your pot "heavy" all the time then you will saturate the roots "roots need to breath" Little plants need Little Water and Little Light. Little plants only have a tiny root system and as such drink only tiny amounts. So pointless in lets say saturating a pot with water when there's only a small plant in it, (effectively your roots could struggle to breath properly for days before the soil dried out enough) just feed with small amount and check the weight of the pot every day, you'll soon get to learn how much water she'll need. A small plant DOES NOT need watering every day. Hope this helps, i'm not very good at putting my point across in words lol bongsmilie

Ah ok cool, well these are 12l pots lol. I'm gonna leave a few more days, they seem fine at the moment so will leave them be and keep an eye on them. Thankyou ;)
