LOOK- Its a Matter of Science. higher temperatures CAN be stressful to a plant, the opperative word being CAN, not ALWAYS. If conditions are prevalently suitable to accomodate those kinds of temperatures (well established plants, good mulch layer, plenty of water, shaded roots, plenty of Microbes and Nutrition, thriving Organic substrate culture, enough wind to be conducive to accelerated rates of transpiration, and a consistent/encouraged gas exchange from substrate to atmosphere, inner growth shaded by canopy etc) than plants will not only be tolerable to high temperatures, but will THRIVE.110 heat for 5 days made my babies get some yellowing leaves on lower limbs, but continuetop s to grow so i am not complainingthe top growth is all I want anyway lol
15 days, and 20" of growth. See it with your own eyes, and behold the awe of nature as I do
..... What most people dont understand is that advice is commonly given to new indoor growers more as a set of controlled parameters for success. Where as I have grown indoors with extreme temps (high and low) and been more than content with the results.

i see your results ur right, but if everyone grew in hot temps there would be problems for some of those people

Yes, which is exactly why that advice is so commonly given ("man, you need to keep your temps between 75 and 82, no higher or its too hard on the plant, will stunt growth etc." and etc etc etc.), keeping your temps in this range, with the accomodating RH, air exchange rates, accurate watering and feeding schedule, and you will have optimum results (within reason and depending on the grow/er of course
). The plants thrive on sets of balances between all media and climate, whether it be soil, air, water, nutrients, light source, etc. when one variable changes it often affects many others and can have a chain reaction. Much simpler to give those controlled parameters as advice then present the actual science behind what is happening with the plants to display the vastly different conditions which cannabis may thrive, and further- precisely how different strains react to different growing conditions, soil mixes, nutrition regimes, etc. etc

well its mostly the climate if it was moist and hot them u would defiantly would have problems, from spider mite outbreaks to powder mildew and other molds, what im saying is , people will see this and if they dont know better they could fuck up there grow, and indoors, these temps wouldnt work out in most cases , but u know what ur doing and ur doing it right, plus u have what appears to be dry weather. most of america is wet and hot right now, but im eastcoast

was in 108 degrees with 65% humidity the other day (plus the added evaporated moisture from the ground) and the plants were happy because there was a steady breeze. was like that for 4 or 5 days. shit it rained like a week and a half ago.
Ice baths/showers (like FREEZING water, Litterally wash your plants with ice cubes like you would soap on your body), followed by (granulated)garlic (1/2 TBLSPN per quart)/neem oil (1 tspn/quart) spray, followed by NON antibacterial dish soap mixture (1/2 to 1 tspn/quart) heavy shower and add a high powered fan helps a shit tons with spidermites, if you schedule it all right that is. (I would do EARLY every morning, an hour before sun up).
Your right though, people could easily mess up. thats why these forums exist, share info experiences, learn and grow together. Still learning, always will be

Organic growing has bacteria at its foundation
..... dont want to kill that. believe it or not there are also bacteria that live on the plant itself that can be quite helpful to the plant.

yeah beneficial microbes but on the leafs, really didnt know that, last year i did a mix with that kind of soap.

I thought this post in another thread would be pretty relevant here.
I have been thinking about setting up a watering system.... 2 hours a day pretty much just watering, or feeding. a watering system would cut it down to... turn it on, turn it off. and I could still use it when I feed too so that would be a win win, my only concern would be with the plants getting the amounts of water they need, some use more or less than others. Im still on the fence, but leaning towards doing it. definitely wouldnt use a timer though. it would be worth my thought and attention to when and for how long I would turn it on.... glad its working for you, I have seen it Kick Ass for some people
EDIT: I would also want to NOT let the first couple minutes of water hit the plants soil, it gets HOT in the lines, so I flood out the hot water and then water the plants with nice cold water. It helps with the Hot temps outside to keep the roots cool during the day, which is why I have been watering in the afternoons. feedings would be in the mornings, foliage in the evenings. but I have noticed the plants really thrive on the Hot days when their roots are cooled and watered deeply to keep cool that afternoon. Im on the verg of- water in the afternoon, feed the next morning, water the next afternoon, feed the next morning.... and so on. I will also be feeding like this going into flower especially giving them that good Boost they need for flowering, as it will be Hot then as well

good insite, but the myth of high temps being bad in general comes from growers using big black pots that bake the roots in the sun. this is why i guess noobs should worrie, but if u know how to care for ur plants, u can usaully overcome.

I'm doing alright down south having temps in the low 90's. High of about 93 clear blue skies. A good spread of rain. Just mulching with oak leafs. I'm in the sweet spot for latitude and weather. I top feed here and there. Don't have to do much now just let nature take its course.
Gonna be tossing about 6-8 more seedlings at my spot. Here is a pic of my modest set up. What do think should I top? Im tempted too? I just might pinch between nodes and try super cropping. Some of the bigger ladies are bout 3' tall. I need to em stay short and they Won't t listen.View attachment 2731355

space a good bit if you can and tie them down.

I didn't expect them to get so huge this go around. I spaced them bout foot and half apart. Gonna space em bout 3 ft from now on.

Mulching helps big time jmo. It would mean no watering during the day. When I water. I do so at night or early morning. I get a good spread of rain so no worries. But everyone's situation is different. Out west getting real hot in the triple digits.

I might do that just trying to keep it natural looking. Just in case if trolls run onto it. I've done LST. In fact I did it to the largest one already. Tied my Afghani #1.
