Ok...i thought i would do some different photos this time to show the flower response. Its day 21of flower and it looks a little slow but i think they are ready to take off now. All plants are looking green and healthy so far. It's time to make the switch over to the 15-30-15 after a good flush.....

Day 35....
Bud formation seems to be slow on these. Doc says about 65 days but they look like they might go longer....who knows?

Well, these are so big now that its hard to get them out of the room for detailed pictures so this is all i have for now.

The buds are much smaller then i would have anticipated from this strain because I have seen this one grown out before and they were bulky. At this point i am quite sure i did something wrong because the plants looked like they started flowering and then stopped...only to start up again. So, i checked and double checked everything and noticed my temps were in the 90's. Not sure if that did it or not...
Anyway, to make sure it was me and not the plants I have put the cut I took from plant #4 in the flower room yesterday....its about 12 inches tall now.
My temps are in control again so this will be a good test to see if it was me or just the plants.
These smell so good and unique that i really want to do these justice...spicy and fruity.

Pictures from day 42.....

Day 49 for the Jazz....
Looking thin but it smells delicious.
Next time i run these I will start them earlier. They have just about outgrown my room as you can see form the picture....

they are too big to move out of the room for detailed individual pictures of all of them.

here are some shots of plant #2....

All plants are down now. plant 4 was the last of them.

plant 4....she was in bad need of water last night but I knew she was coming down today so i let it go. you can see how droopy she is.
this one was probably the smallest yield of them all.

And here is the cut I took from her at 28 days.
It's in a smaller pot and its doing much better already. Still not sure what I did wrong the first time but I sure did something.?????

Comments-
I did a few things wrong in this grow and the plants suffered for it. I am quite sure I can get much better results but even with the problems, I can see the potential in this strain. It is a typical Sativa "up" type high with a really nice but moderate pain killing quality on the back end. Dr Sharpe reports he can smoke it during the day and still work and run his business without any desire to sit in the office and take a nap. It gets him through his work day and keeps his mind off all his pain issues. Dr Sharpe's pain issues are not as severe as some but they are bad enough to screw up the amount of work he can get done from day to day and he is really liking this strain. If i grow this one to its potential I can only imagine how strong it could be. As for the smell; this one takes me back to the 70's when I first started smoking. It was a total deja vu experience when I walked back into the room i had been smoking it in….man that was cool!

Final Comment-
This time I almost didn't want to write up a report until i grow it again. I didn't do a good job with these and I need to give it another try to dial them in. I've seen the potential of this strain from another grower and I feel I owe it to myself and Dr Greenthumb to give these another go…as soon as possible. I had what looked like over fertilization issues issues so this plant could be sensitive or it could have been that i'm just not used to the Miracle grow. But, to me, there was something else other then nutrient issues going on during this grow and I have a theory. It's a long story but in a nutshell; I think I had a malfunction with my backup lights being left on during dark hours. I can't be sure but if you want to know the story just ask me and i will be glad to tell you. Having said all that, even with the problems, this one still has a nice sativa buzz and old school smell. When I try it again I will go back to my normal method.

Medical qualities: Moderate Pain relief, good for depression and appetite.

I've recently discovered how much photo period slip ups can affect the crop. I had some Nevilles Haze become heavily seeded by itself. Then, a slow start to the next crop.

I spent a few hours and a few dollars on checking for faulty timers and power sources. Then several hours and dollars on fixing light leaks. I was reminded of how crucial those 12 hrs of darkness are to a highly successful MJ crop.

Nice report Dr Gruber.. I like the go with Miracle Gro... I used to use nothing but good ol' midwestern soil and Miracle Gro products on my outdoor crops and they were killer.
Back then it was a 4 hour trip to the hydro store and the internet was a reason to go to the library... Fuck that! Miracle Gro it is!! Haha.
