As long as you pay it off in time you'll be fine. they want you to use as much electricity as possible. if someone is looking into your electric bill every month, you're already fucked.

having a high electric bill is not going to fuck you... its the trimming plants in front of your window at night, with lights on, and blinds open, as you hit your bong and your reggaton is blaring from your stereo, as you blow weed smoke out of your open window, that will fuck you...

First off, I am suspicious of the $37 per month bill... Seriously, that is too low, and I think you are fibbing...

Second off, $240 aint shit for an electric bill, learn to love it...
Third off, If you are telling truth, Your grow is costing you $200+ per month [now add water/food/etc]
So, your grow is costing you the cost of a great 1/2 a zip per month...
How many plants are you growing, and how long do you think, it will take you to break even?

The red flag is not on your power consumption bill, it's everything else that doesn't make sense...
So, since I am sure for the sake of arguement, a raise of $203 per month on your electric bill is not a red flag, carry on....
37 for a house.... no way... even my 1 bd new apt i had the bill was about 65 lowest.... my house before grow was about 200 and now with
3000 watts hps and 4 inline fans, a window unit, dehumdidier, 3 fans in room o and some leds always running my on my mothers it is now at 395.00 and im payin about 9.7 cents a kwh.
so far no calls or anything to tell me my bill doubled ... just keep sending them the money and they are happy campers.

When my wife and kids went out of the country for 2 months my electric went down just under $50, but I was also rarely home but did watch my big ass tv and surfed on my computer some. It is possible, I also live in one of the more expensive states for power, so if you go someplace cheaper I can see ~$40 for a house with just once person living in it.

Most dispensaries charge $35-60 per 1/8th, and $50 is pretty normal for a top shelf strain when bought in smaller quantities from a shop. You can certainly get it cheaper if you have connections or if you want to try your luck with Craigslist, but would be too shady for me.

according to his previous posts, hes running; "3 1000w raptor hoods" and hes about at 4th wk of 12/12 (3 1000w bulbs in raptors is mighty impressive for a first grow, kudos dude)
3000w x 12 x 30 = 1080kw , if your rate is .10 per kw thats about $110 in lights
add fans lets be generous and say your fans are eating $20 of juice
I'd say your AC ate at least $100 in June (as mine did in June, was freakin 100degrees outside yesterday, godbless Texas)
(maybe run your lights at night in the summer months so the AC doesnt fight the sun and your raptors at the same time)

I guess the short answer is, you are not even close to tripping any red flags, even if they did look. Your 230/mo bill is much closer to "normal" than your $37/mo
