hes right though, college teaches you independence, budgeting skills, and prepares you for what its gonna be like for the rest of your life paying everything yourself basically it teaches you how to manage yourself without ur parents, sure it could be done cheaper and not at college, you seemed to disagree on that but thats what college is for as well as an education.

or u just skate throu life let school pay for house and a 4x4 truck bike i bought off bent bumper and rear fender they paid 2200 i chipped in 600 of school money

As long as your not drug dealing but have friends from like high school or college that you know already smoke your giving them safer product and not putting yourself at risk with criminals. Just dont tell anyone what your doing or they might want to take it. When you get your place, don't worry about spending a little more on rent and taking control of utility bills if it means added privacy. Just factor all that in to how much you need per harvest. You also can reinvest money to make improvements to your system. I now have a 8x8 area that gives me 1900-2000 grams with 3 week veg n 9 week flowering.

Don't get greedy and try to make lots of money, just enough to pay off your loans and school and survive until you get a real job. You will have plenty of time for school, get better grades, and learn a skill that can help you out if you ever need it again down the road.

I bet there will be a lot of cheap grow equipt. on craigslist in a few months.

like i said, start small, if you find you are good at it and enjoying it, upgrade, every harvest you should make enough to buy all the grow stuff you own again, minus all the expensive c02injection, air conditioning etc.

Dude growing weed is easy. Doing it great, not so much. If your going to college you probably have the ability to teach yourself. Buy a book and read how to do it first. It's pretty straight foreword. My first run gave me 1100 grams and i taught myself how to make hash and oil which increased my profit even more.As to those people saying that it only leave you with 500 for 3 months...wtf you have no money in the bank at all or a job over the summer before college starts for additional cash? I just gave a basic guideline of how to do it. If i told your how i balanced every dollar to get to where I am now the point I'm trying to make would get lost.You can still pay for school, get high, and live comfortably if you just use your brain and get creative.

I would love to see a $2,500 setup with CO[SUB]2[/SUB] in the hands of a noob that has his federal school loan tied up in the success or failure of his first harvest... never mind roommates that like to talk big shit and swing their dicks in front of friends and chicks... and strangers coming over to get drunk/high/hang out, random girls (or dudes) you or your roommates bring home etc.

Just get a job when you graduate and pay your shit off and grow your own weed to smoke and make hash and gummy bears and hemp oil.

Also I'm sure meth or even shrooms would be easier and make more money.

LOL after reading all these comments I have to add a key point that I missed in my explanation of how to do this. You can't be a dumbass and expect this to work out for you. Usually you know if your a dumbass or not. If you don't know ask your friends and they will let you know.

The teenage mind still undergoes neural "pruning" and they just can't understand the concept of long term consequences as fully as someone 40 years old.

But, if you are very careful, keep good company, and aren't too greedy then hell I hope it stays illegal forever :)

Having weed at school I've seen many..but growing at school? I've not seen too much activity when rooming off campus..too many people in and out. Kinda risky.
