Anyone familiar with ''Fungus Gnats Off'

hello I have aphids and thrips on my plants. Vegetative stage. I just bought "Fungus gnat off" from 'Hydrogarden'. What pisses me off is that they told me I can use this one to spray the plants and get rid of the creatures. But as I read the description and googled a bit, it says that this should be inserted in the reservoir, not use to spray the plants. I HOPE I'm wrong bcs the store is so far away and I really need to get rid of them before they increase. Can someone with knowledge please confirm if I'm right or wrong.

Thank you

seeing as gnats live in the soil or resi, it makes sense you would water it in or put in resi. Thrips live on the plant. I don't think it's gonna work if you sprayed the plants with it. But you never know. it would be just guessing at this point.

i had this problem before. how i got rid of them was

i hand fed them so the top of the soil was covered in the solution, so any thrips that landed on the soil to lay there eggs would die but you also got to have sticky fly tape to catch all of them.

spraying makes no sense to me as they like to lurk in and around the soil.

ok so i checked on google to see what's in that stuff. it's bt- great stuff for fungus gnats although at $30 for a tiny bottle, I thnk mosquito dunks are a better buy. that said, it wont do shit for thrips or aphids. i use pyrethrin products for those pests. some people have success with neem, insecticidal soaps, mighty wash... you realy have to be thourough with that type of stuff tho. hth

I appreciate all your answers, thx. I wont be going to the shop for a week and I want to switch to flowering in maximum 10 days... So I guess I have to figure out a way to make a homemade thrip "product". Does any of you have a link or know how to make one of these? Or do you think a normal flower store have some kind of an organic product that could be used on marijuana plants?

(was looking for neem oil in that shop I was at but they didn't have any...)

anything with pyrethrin works good on thrips and should be available from a nursery. Flea bombs are also usually made from pyrethrin.
