Muslim Lawyers Association calls for Obama’s arrest during trip to S. Africa

The Muslim Lawyers Association in Johannesburg has called for the arrest and prosecution of President Obama for war crimes when he arrives in South Africa on June 29, the nonprofit said in a statement.

The MLA has submitted a 600-plus-page request to the Office of the National Director of Public Prosecution to arrest the U.S. president, the South African daily newspaper The Times reported.

According to the report, the MLA mainly objects to Mr. Obama’s drone program, which it says unfairly targets Muslim civilians.

“The complaint, dubbed the ‘Obama Docket’ encourages South Africa to take seriously its domestic and international obligations and to act against International War Criminals lest they consider South Africa a safe haven and travel here freely with impunity,” the MLA said in a press release

MLA spokesman Yousha Tayob said that in terms of the Rome Statute, South Africa has the right to prosecute a war criminal on its territory.

The spokesman for the U.S. Embassy in South Africa, Jack Hillmeyer, said it had “no comment,” The Times reported.

I think the article highlights the fact that the world is getting tired of Obama's shit. I don't think the world wants to see the United States of Israel.

People here in the U.S.I. complain about the use of drones over our soil but pay very little thought to what they are used for on other's soil. Bombing groups of people "suspected" of terrorist activity is insane.

Unlike buck I don't think its right that they are killed just because israel has the upper hand. This time its about the US I also don't think they should be killed in their own land on their own soil for a suspected crime\.

People have a right to live as they wish in their countries it doesn't mean I have to agree to sharia law which I think is 100% shit by the way shooting women for wanting to drive ? really what if it was your mother?

I don't think it's a question of sympathy really but respect. I wouldn't want someone invading my home so I'm not going to invade another person's home. The US has no business killing people in a foreign land just like they have no business coming here spreading their filth. The US needs to stop justifying killing innocent people. We need to mind our business and take care of our homeland because our ship is going down.

Well if that's true, then you've gained some respect in my book. I agree with pretty much everything you said there. I never thought we'd agree on much of anything.

I view it as more of a security issue. They live like animals under sharia. If they want to kill themselves in their own country that's fine by me, but if we kill them we're going to create yet another problem for ourselves.

America needs to stop being the world police and let people get their own countries set up and in order. America should be working on building up its own country and helping its people.
