Everyone else? You mean like Single people?

They have all the same rights, exactly the same ones I do. What they want is EXTRA rights that the rest of us don't get.
How is recognition of your marriage and the same benefits that straight couples receive an EXTRA right? That would be EQUAL rights.

Sorry little gay dude, there are TONS of gay people that are married, lots and lots and lots.
Not as far as federal law is concerned; meaning you can't file jointly for federal income taxes. You know this though; it's pretty much common knowledge.

Marrying animals incapable of giving consent is the same as gays getting married? Please elaborate.
What you want is monetary benefits for getting married, same as me. That's all this is about, nothing more.

Do you ever really look in the mirror?

it's also the fact that not having access to marriage is basically just a way of classifying them as second class citizens, implying that their love is not every bit as equal as hetero love.

hit the bottle harder why don't ya. rough father's day or something?

All men are created equal.

If there were a special separate law that gave gay marriage the same standing as traditional marriage, what would stop single straight guys from getting married to each other in order to just reap the monetary benefits? When they meet the loves of their life, they can divorce their "gay" spouse and have a regular marriage to their female counterpart/soulmate???

Is there a gay test that doctors can do?

As long as they can prove they are gay by taking a doctor proscribed gay test. Im all for it, otherwise i think they are just faking it in order to reap the monetary benefits and are going to go screwing chicks all the time anyway.

In a same-sex marriage?? cn
No no, that isn't what is being discussed here. Gay people CAN GET MARRIED, just not to the same sex. Lots of Gay people in the closet that are married and have kids/families/jobs but who yearn for a big strong Marine to have butt sex with, or oral sex, or whatever else they are into.

You understand that making a separate law that grants gays a special privilege to get married would mean every guy will be married to another guy just for the tax advantages right?

I am ALL FOR removing any and all tax advantages married people currently enjoy.

Honestly though I am all for gays getting married, doesn't bother me at all. The problem comes with adding laws recognizing something that anyone can claim to be, as a new right.
