i did this to keep my grow lights from coming out the cracks in my spare bedroom door, now it looks completely dark in there... i taped a 4in strip of guerilla tape(best stuff ever) but folded it over so there was an inch or so of stickey and a couple inches floded tape, line the inside edges of the door..makes a black flap that seals the cracks

Ok I tried doing something like that with tinfoil but I'd try that, where do you get guerilla tape? I was thinking some type of sheet I could put up with velcrow or something

You can get Gorilla tape at walmart or kmart or most hardware stores its just a heavy duty extra sticky tape that rocks

Word bro panda poly film was exactly what I was thinking, does, that just stick to the wall or do you have to hang it with something?

If I put a wall of it on the inside barrier it would block the light but can you get some type of zipper so you could open it up in the middle?

Yes you can...you gotta make it yourself. First off, gorilla tape is a must have since it is so versatile. I like the taping the frame edge with half overhang. Then you can make a precise cutout of your frame and transfer that to any light proof material you choose. Finally, you buy yourself a zipper with adhesive strip and you have yourself a light trap with easy access..you'll need a flap to cover the zipper as well.

Anyone know where Yu can buy that panda poly film or anything like it? I haven't looked for the adhesive zipper yet but I'd imagine they would have it at walmart or something

I use a single size bed sheet to block out unwanted light come or going over my closet door. An its never failed me yet! worth a try since all of the requirements tend to be already supplied in most homes.
